anyway, why was v5 renamed to Demon Slayer? Although it flows better in english, it has omitted far too many things in the original. The King part is left out, and so is the sacred sword part. When read by itself it also tends to make one think of a person instead, when it's supposed to be clearly referring to a sword.
also, there's 1 chapter in v1 called Areishia Elemental Academy. wasn't the previous name 'Areishia Spirit Contractor Academy'? where did the Contractor part go? at least Elementalist would make it sound more accurate, since it's not an academy for elementals/spirits, but for spirit contractors.

Is the spirit -> elemental change in a testing/feedback phase, or is that set as the new terminology? Also, are there any places where the term "spirit" should remain unchanged? In particular, I noticed there was one instance of "spirits" left in V1 Ch1 part1; but I wasn't sure if that was intentional based on the original text or its context.

Anyway with regards to furigana, I've plans to rid it completely as part of my plans to rework the series, this will also include changing spirit to elemental. I'll be experimenting with Vol 1, as well as fixing stuff that I have been dissatisfied with.

Anyway, Demon Slayer aka Demon-King-Killing Scared Sword is an other name to Terminus Est, which I presume readers would be well aware of by V5.

On a side note, I've temporarily given up on the having-no-furigana stand. Some parts would require so much work

I agree. Here complicated my life, the Portuguese translation is strange with this term.

In English, the -ist suffix is primarily used to signify someone who either practices or believes something. If you're curious, see this for more info.

As for "Elemental", what's the difficulty? Elementals, after all, refer to nearly the span of mythical creatures in Western culture, while ascribing to them a prevailing element from among those commonly referenced as wind, water, fire, earth, and/or light/dark. This seems very much in keeping with the role "Elementals" in the story play. If you've ever played any fantasy-type card games, you'd know what I mean

That's true as well.

To elaborate on what I said previously, I was trying to say it is also a cross between a term and it's user/specialist/practitioner. Like Pianist, Violinist, Artist.
