What if we take Tap's logo and put black background behind white Silver Crow? That'd be total contrast: black-on-white Kirito and white-on-black Crow.

I doubt I'll be trying anything else.

But Vaelis, try flipping that.
Silver Crow on the left, while Kirito on the right.
Then move Silver Crow right and down ~5 pixels each.
It should reduce the awkward feeling caused by that overtly dark breastplate on Silver Crow.

Brightening it might make it fit the other forums' thumbnails too.
Try a white Overlay/Soft Light layer, opacity somewhere between 15% and 35%.

but a black/white combo is not bad at all... though Silver crow being red is a bit strange for me

I think too, that you can go ahead, since after this long time there werent any new proposals... :/
