I have started on prologue but how should I email the admins? Through BT or forum? And should I send you my translation so that we can compare and cross check?

You can send it to my yahoo. I'll check it tmr since it's late (for me). Terminologies is definitely on to-do-list for tmr. Um, I think they mentioned that in the project guidelines or thereabouts. Contacting all of them would be best and by PM.

Re: Saiunkoku Monogatari
I have done the prologue and has almost completed chapter 1 as well. So is there any editor or fellow translator who would be so kind to check and edit my draft? If there are, please PM me your email so that I can email you the drafts. Thanks. Cheers~
By the way, pardon my errors in the draft as I am not very good in English, but feel free to edit and tell me, so that I can learn from my mistakes.

Re: Saiunkoku Monogatari
Prologue of Saiunkoku Monogatari
Legend tells of the establishing of Saiunkoku.
Saiunkoku was once infested by demons who threw the country into turmoil
In a seemly never-ending chaos, a youth went on a journey.
The youth slayed demons and monsters, and sincerely praying for the safety and happiness of the people, while continuing his long never-ending journey.
Finally his sincerity touched the eight gods.
Ran sage, Hong sage, Heki sage, Ko sage, Haku sage, Koku sage, Sa sage and the Shi sage—the Eight Coloured Sages named after the colours.
The sages used their divine powers to help the youth.
The youth name is So Gen, and with the help of the Eight Coloured Sages, So Gen forged an era of peace with the nation of Saiunkoku and became its first emperor.
After the death of So Gen, the Eight Coloured Sages disappeared without a trace too. However, the elegant palace built for the Eight Coloured Sages, named as the residence of the Eight Coloured Sages—Sento Palace, is said to stand in one corner of the royal palace.
<Legend of the founding of Saiunkoku—Author unknown>
Prologue
In the late night—deep in the royal palace, a group of court ministers of state are having a secret discussion.
“……indeed it is a big problem.”
“Exactly, it is a bad situation.”
“The emperor has already ascended the throne for half a year.”
“Are we really not able to do anything......?”
“We originally thought that everything would turn out for the best……”
“This group of old men really cannot follow the youth trend.”
“Rubbish! What kind of trend is that!?”
An old court minister of state roared resentfully. He was an active general in the battlefield in his youth, and even though he is over sixty, he has not changed his impatient temper even up to this day.
“But if this continued—“
“You are right, if this continue, it is hard to say that corrupted officials will not appear.”
“That’s not all; mutineers are planning to move as well.”
“The upmost important issue right now is—“
One of the court ministers of state’s tone is clearly calmer than other court ministers of state, but with a worried look and said low garrulously:
“…… to think of a solution to stop all rumours that is causing uproar.”
The court ministers immediately quiet down. Indeed, the upmost important issue right now is that problem.
“You, you are right!”
Another court minister wiped his sweat and dry cough few times.
“Instead of worrying of the corrupted official that may appear, I think that it is most important to appease the emotions of the people.”
“But… We have already tried everything!”
“What should we do?”
“—I have a planned.”
As this man is the court minister with the most power in the country, the surrounding immediately went silent; everyone looked at him with expectation.
“—as the saying goes,”
The old court minister says: “the wife is also the husband’s nemesis.”
Pardon me for my lousy translation. First time translating and English isn't my best language. Cheers~

Re: Saiunkoku Monogatari
I've started the terminology page. Probably will be adding some more tmr... but there's only Red Clan there as of now. I think I'll step in as editor for now.Kanziell wrote:So when will we do the terminologies?

Re: Saiunkoku Monogatari
Thanks for everything. I will start on chapter 2 soon, maybe during the weekend. I know it is a bit impolite but can you give me the terminology for the chapter 2 by weekend? Thanks~
I can maybe work these few days, and during end of the year (holidays too), but during other days I may be busy so I may translate at a very slow rate. Furthermore, my English isn't very good in the first place, so excuse my error and slow rate.
Cheer~

Re: Saiunkoku Monogatari
I sent it to your email. I'm not sure if I missed out anything, so you can check the terminology page on the wiki page if I did miss out anything.
I'm thinking of uploading the illustrations during the weekends...
