Re: Kämpfer
ok so im going to resume translating kampfer starting today, right now im going to focus on coordinating the important parts of the translation that were missing previously, mostly this just consists of the new names and terminology page.

Re: Kämpfer
I just saw how you did the references in chapter 1, hadn't noticed that before, I'll have to update chapter 3! (Done, that is much easier)
In the Names and Terminology thread I posted the names I had been using.

Re: Kämpfer
I'm getting used to wiki editing. I haven't had much time to translate lately, but I've been looking into how to help the page. Chapter 3 has 6 sections, unlabeled, but there's a '○' (that's not a emoticon!) character between sections. I decided to label them so I could get a table of contents. I figured that would help people navigate to the last section I've edited. It also allows me to keep track of changes per-section. I think it's cool, at least for such a big chapter.

Re: Kämpfer
I just finished Chapter 3. Wow, that was a long chapter. I think I'll take a look at chapter 4, unless you'd rather have me work on another one.

Re: Kämpfer
I'd rather you'd finish chapter two. It bugs me when there's a hole in the story that's incomplete, or when people translate out of order. Just my preference, not forcing you or anythingKondou wrote:I just finished Chapter 3. Wow, that was a long chapter. Re: Kämpfer
I mostly agree with you and a couple days ago I sent J112 a message. I'd hate to waste effort translating pages that have already been translated though. The chapter is registered to J112, so it's not up to me until I hear back.ShadowfoxEX wrote:I'd rather you'd finish chapter two. I've started on chapter 4, it looks interesting anyway.

Thanks! Sometimes I can't tell if anyone is reading it.Zearth wrote:I'm really happy to see recent work on this translation, looking forward to more! :D
After I finished chapter 4 I started chapter 2. I put up the first half just now. I figured it's better to put up half now and the second half in a week or so if things keep going well.

Re: Kampfer: General
Well, I'm about half done with the second half. Akane's vicious-dog-mode dialect is hard to translate, and there's a lot of it in this half. Still, it's getting there.Kondou wrote:I figured it's better to put up half now and the second half in a week or so if things keep going well.

Re: Kampfer: General
There's something wrong with Kampfer's page that makes it so the android app can't connect to it. Its been that way for a while, but now that there's been some recent activity, I thought I'd point it out.

I think you're using the old Android app. The new one isn't available through Google Play yet, only through github:Tacoman2 wrote:There's something wrong with Kampfer's page that makes it so the android app can't connect to it. The old app isn't supported. The original developer is MIA. Kämpfer's title was changed from Kampfer (no umlaut). The old app seems to have a pre-loaded list of titles and can't find the pages any more.
(Just tried the new app and it already has Chapter 2 that I just put up.)
