i shall thanks all of you for the chapters that i read until now, on monogatari's series i really appreciate da effort put in all the chapters, in special kabukimonogatari, a time travel blonde little vampire girl ... thats something new. by the way, in baka tsuki page the links for da chapters in the main page only put the progress until the chapter 6, but in the next chapterlink below the finish in each chpter we can advanc until the chapter 8.

Thank you for the chapter. I prefer the usage of ''kaii'' over ''oddity''. A funny shaped cloud or a penguin on the north pole can also be called an oddity but when you write ''kaii'' you can imediately connect it to some sort of supernatural being/phenomenon (in the context of Monogatari series).

I think I prefer oddity, although I didn't notice. It depends on the context in some places. "King of Oddities, the Oddity Killer" doesn't really sound as intimidating!

I have a question about this series.

Is it important to read it in order? I feel like I should, and that's why I'm kind of on hiatus in the middle of Tsuruga Monkey. I've kind of gone through this thread and it seems like you translate in random bits more out of efficiency than because it's just a bunch of random stories which don't really connect. I dunno, it feels kind of weird to skip the majority of Bakemonogatari and go right onto Kizumonogatari.

It's completely safe to read ''Koyomi vamp'' since it's about how Araragi got into the whole supernatural business. ''Nekomonogatari (black)'' is also okay with how far you've read.
