Actually, checking the history it was Kuroi who put his name down.

Did something happen with Mizuho? And are you sure zzhk is actually alright with that?

Extreme spoilers for V11 (read at your own risk):
Spoiler! :
ImageImage

The <<Demon Slayer>> shone with brilliance.

Its cold blade--

Pierced straight into Restia's chest.

"Farewell, Kamito."

Tears streamed down her face nonstop.

"Miss Sacred Sword... You must protect Kamito well..."

"Restia... Restiaaaaaaaaaaa!"

As the <<Demon Slayer>>'s radiance vanished, so did the figure of the darkness spirit girl.

Spoiler! :
Scarlett was killed off in v1 and was back before the end of the volume too. (In that Astral/spirit plane too, where you'd think it would be perma-death for spirits to be killed there.)

It's no longer, "well that sucks, she's dead", but more "oh, I wonder how long it'll take before she's back again this time?". >.<
Honestly the author's "dramatic scenes" seem to have way too many instances of "so why did I care again?" epilogues. Like the massive pathos with the Dusk-Witch's-blade-dance-thing, and next volume she's 'merely' lost the ability to command spirits. Inconvenient, but it's not as if she's dead like it was implied at the end of the previous volume. -.-

Yeah but the author tends to kill (nearly) a char in one volume and bring back in the next
