I believe the /mnt/sdcard/ is the internal memory, you need to check what is the actual path for your sdcard, usually it is /mnt/sdcard-ext/ at least in Droid RAZR (CM10/4.2.2).

Hmm if the sony phones have the same path naming you can use /mnt/ext_card or /storage/sdcard1 as this are the path names that leads me to my external sd-card on my Sony Xperia L.

THX a lot!! I changed my image storage to /storage/sdcard1/xxx and it really saved in the sdcard.. my bakareader consumed 1.9GB of space in internal memory because of the full resolution

I've been a long user of the old Bakareader App and was fully satisfied with it.
There isn't loading time when clicking Novels/Watch List
It was quite fast and easy looking for the novels and reading.

I liked the white background and black text as compared to the current black background and white text
Viewing pictures are alot better in the Bakareader EX as compared to before but reading the novels on the old Bakareader was still alot better to me.
Another reason why I didn't start using Bakareader EX was because of the huge amounts of novels that I already downloaded from before, had to be re-downloaded in Bakareader EX

I been using the old bakareader till now. However, it's been happening for quite a while now. All of a sudden, i receive like mass novel updates. For example, The entire Chrome Shelled Regios started appearing update from volume 1 to the latest volume... when i looked at the novels, every single one that i read has lost it's (DL) label and i had to re-download everything from scratch. This has been happening to like almost all of my novels. Such as Toaru, Kenshin no Keishousha, Highschool DxD, Chrome Shelled Regious and so on...

Is there a way to rectify this problem as i do not want to go all the way and re-download everything only to have it disappear again the next day. Or is there a way I can transfer all my downloaded novel content over to Bakareader EX? Though i prefer the old appearance as compared to the new, I rather have that than losing everything...

The old application saves the page as individual html page, but the new one save it to DB. This is to enable dynamic styling for the contents.

Settings -> General -> Invert Color.

No converter available, need to redownload.

You mean the old one is the one that have the problem? I can't help with that, as the dev are different. The old app dev is KIA/MIA, that's why we create the new application.

I believe the old one is not going to be updated anymore.

No way to avoid this, you need to redownload everything.

The loading times are currently the only issue I'm having with the program. It takes like up to a minute for any of the lists to load. Honestly, this feels too long and was wondering if something is throttling the load speed. Front pages take a while and the actual chapters also take a while to load. It's mostly text, it shouldn't be so slow, even the webpages loading within the program is faster

Do you save your pages.db in external SDCard?

Check if you still have enough internal storage on your phone.
