I cleared the volume cache and re-downloaded it and it is working fine now.It looks like because I was trying to read the Re-Write version that it messed up the whole volume so maybe need to figure out how to get it to navigate properly for both versions even though only the original version version is listed on the main page for IS. Since the Wiki will navigate properly if you are reading the re-write version or the original version.Nandaka wrote:Weird, mine is working.Wolfpup wrote: That is why I also included the original because the buttons are not functioning there either when I get to the end of a chapter and press next I get the message 'there are no more chapters' when I'm still in the first volume and the series has 8 volumes plus side stories.
1. Open IS novel
2. Open Volume 1 Chapter 1
3. Press Next until Afterwords.
4. When I press Next again, it bring me to the Volume 2's Novel Illustration.
Anyway, I'm releasing new version to handle KitKat WebView issue, see if it fix your case cos I do touch the prev/next button to handle null value.
If it is still not working, I might need your log file.

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
Thanks for adding ability to return to chapter/novel tree from within chapter. As I mentioned before, BT icon does nothing, and if I had used the previous option you suggested, it would have only returned me to whatever was accessed previously prior to the current page (whether it be a previous chapter, main TOC, main BT page, or an app not related to BakaBT app).
Now I'm wondering if it's possible to update novels manually. That is, just download the pages from BT on my computer, then transfer them to my android device? I've noticed that my device has problems trying to download a large number of chapters. It's usually slow at times, and can sometimes crash or just suddenly stop updating/downloading, so I often have to re-initialize the updates/downloads (and can barely do more than one download/update project at a time, 2 or more almost guarantees a crash later on if it takes too long). For example, just recently Index novels had a massive update; virtually every chapter has been updated. That's easily more than 100 chapters to download/update, and that's not including all other novels in my watch list (400+ updates). If I could update manually, that could mitigate the issue somewhat.

Thanks for all the efforts you've put into this app, it's one of my favorites. I came here to make some suggestions to the devs, I hope it's not very mean of me to ask for this things:
Have you tought of making the language selection to be on the "Light Novels" list?
I mean something like this, erase the button "Alt. Language"
And put a button (that will display a list of languages as radioButtons, as the one in UI-Selection at Settings) like this:
And I don't know if this is happening only to me, but in the actual "Alt. Languages" list there are just three languages (French, Polish and Indonesian), what happened to the other languages that are already in Baka-tsuki wiki? If there's some way I can help with that please make me know, I guess I can learn quickly and make some fork or something if there are good examples of what to do.

Someone asked me about the app license (https://github.com/calvinaquino/LNReade ... issues/106)
I'm fine with BSD 2-Clause or GPL, anyone else?

I find the GPL to be one of the best for coding, but it's up to you

@Erakk: Any concern on it? If not, I'll attach GPLv3 to the project.

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
I just found an issue in the app with certain types of links. Please refer to Infinte Stratos Vol 6 chapter 3 the links to out side the Baka wiki are not being displayed properly ( the text seems to disappear) but you can see the text if you invert the colors in the app.

Acknowledged, this is because they force the link to use black color (<span style="color:black">Chelsea</span>):Wolfpup wrote:I just found an issue in the app with certain types of links. Strangely enough, I can't change the database directory. When I click on the "Database Save Location" option in the settings storage tab, nothing happens. However I can change the "Image Save Location" setting.

I don't think I ever make something to enable to change the DB location? Only Image Location can be changed.blake77 wrote:Strangely enough, I can't change the database directory. Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
I have a N7 2013, recently updated to kitkat. Downloaded the reader Ex for it to read a few series I like that I also read on my phone. For some reason though Index isn't showing any chapters at all. Every other series I'm interested in shows up fine and I checked several others and they all appeared as well. I've tried deleting cache, data and just reinstalling the app a couple times already but the volumes just aren't showing no matter what I do. I can read them just fine on my phone though (AT&T S3 with whatever android is newest for it)
I don't really understand why but I'm assuming it has to do with newer installs.

Either it is being blocked by you phone antivirus/firewall/adblock/etc, or the requested page didn't include index (unlikely).Dogi wrote:I have a N7 2013, recently updated to kitkat. Try to backup your db from S3 and transfer it to your N7, or upload the whole log when refreshing the Main page.
I can get Toaru Index on CM11(KitKat) on my phone.
