Translators Notes and Unclear Terms

Well, first of all, if there are any unclear terms, post them here (oh, by terms, I mean 1 work or 1 phrase). Also, I REALLY need help formating the translators notes. They're not very good right now . . . If anyone wants to help, PM me for the chapter 1 translators notes (oh yea, these are really messy, so change them into complete senteces please).

Also, erehwon, can you put the translator's notes for chapter 2 here? I'll fix otou-(suffix here) and ojou-(suffix here). Thanks.

Just give me some time to stick the TL notes up. I spent my entire day yesterday playing Megamari

You did a pretty good job though, placing links inside the script and linking them to the TL Notes page. If you feel like doing it, just continue on until you're sick of it, and I'll wrap up everything from there onwards

In the translation, I've come across the word, "youma."

I think this means something like monster, but can a translator find a better definition? Thanks in advance.

Youma are giant, gut-eating monsters that can take the shape of humans! In fact, they are so powerful that it takes special women clad in steel with Big A$$ Swords to take them down.

youma - (妖魔) I guess they are demons, monsters, spiritual stuff... depends on context...

Maybe someone would like to clarify?

Well, in the translation note, I've said it typically has a negative connotation. Hope I'm right . . .

Anyways, can anyone define "jutsu" for me? I have a vague idea of what it is, but I think there are many meanings.

Finally, I've added a note for "fuujutsu-shi." The note is "Fuujutsu-shi literally means, "wind jutsu user." A fuujutsu-shi would be a wind user." I don't think it's a very good note, so could someone look it over/change it?

jutsu - probably technique... en-jutsu is fire technique... fuu-jutsu is wind technique

Either technique or "arts", as I've seen in some fansubs.

And are you implying that I'm female? I be no female! I am 100% male!

Also, I thought the wiki was communistic, not Roman . . .
