Sorry if this has been answered already (I don't really want to look through a huge amount of pages) but how come the short stories of Highschool DxD aren't showing? I've refreshed and have even gone through multiple re-installs (have had to format tablet a few times) but still only the 17 volumes are showing. I definitely remember reading the Ophis and Rias 25-something stories before.

They change the formatting? The current layout different from what expected.

They should use h2 tag for the Short Stories marker, you can compare to ToAruIndex: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... de_Stories

Is it possible for us to take existing pdf files and convert it so that we have a setup and layout within the baka-reader so that it is possible to read them within the app? As it is so much easier than reading the pdf. For example, I have the suzumiya haruhi series as a pdf and would like to convert it to use and read within the app.

Not feature for that, and fyi: Suzumiya Haruhi is licensed so baka tsuki remove the novel.

I want to ask if there's a way to quickly go to the top of a chapter since rereading chapters has been a pain with chapters automatically loading at the bottom of the chapter after I read them....if there's a feature or something I missed in the settings then...Anyway perhaps a button somewhere that takes you to the top of the chapter or a setting that defaults loads it at the top? I read perhaps several series on the app and can't be bothered to reread them because of this.

Also is there a way to lock the screen so it doesn't slide left or right? I mean in log horizon for example the image + table causes the chapter to expand sidewards, disabling images didn't help as well. I use this app on my phone so the screen is kinda small but even on horizontal view it still slides to the left and right....

1. Yes, we have . Go to Settings -> Reading Layout -> Scrolling Section, enable Dynamic Buttons. I'll update the description

2. Which chapter? This one may need help from the translator if they use absolute sizing on the table.

2. Practically ever log horizon chapter plus several others novels that involves tables...I think a ELYSION virtual region chapter has the same issue as well though there's only one chapter with a table....

I'm half sure that its not only due to the tables but the images at the start of each chapter. The appendixes without tables have the same issue due to the large image which couldn't be resized smaller. The page resize itself to fit for the image whether its loaded or not. Although I'm not sure on the coding, I think just making a feature where it scroll locks the page sideways would stop any and future hassles with this.

Nope, as the original source doesn't have multiple pages, just long single page. Also, might have issue with bookmarking, as it uses the paragraph id as the anchor.

Internally it uses html for layouting, if someone know html/javascript to change the layout to page mode, then maybe it is possible.

Ok, I'll look into an elegant way to do it through HTML/CSS/JS.

Also, is there a way to change the font colors in the menus? The novel lists have some really light text that is hard to read, which I believe is likely due to some colored text that gets converted to a light shade in grayscale. I saw there was an option for custom CSS, but that probably only effects the chapters, not the novel lists, right?

You means the novel list/chapter list? only can switch from light or dark theme (Overflow menu => Invert Color on respective activity). Usually I'm using the dark theme, so not sure which one you are talking about. Custom CSS only affect the content

This app is no longer working, it seems that the changes to the way novels are listed somehow broke it.

In essence it can no longer update or acquire new novels ( I don't know when I first noticed this but it's been less than 3 months ).

Do you have a tracker for public submission by the way?
