Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
Personally, I'd like Seki to do the entire translation of all the novels, since she's doing a very good job until now and it clearly looks as if this is her project. Besides, I'd appreciate a consistent style throughout the texts.
Also, Seki, thank you very much for the translations and keep up the good work!

Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
Hmm, at the moment I wonder why are there two different wiki pages for this series: http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index ... _ga_Miteru and http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index ... _Ga_Miteru ? Different series or could they be merged or should the one be a teaser for the other?
Please don't mind my bad english since I'm german.

The obsolete page was a translation by another group who wanted us to host the script they had translated before, however seki jumped in and started an original baka-Tsuki project and so we all forgot about the hosted one....
anyway since we no longer need the hosted one it will be deleted.

Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
ah, I think I also have found those chapters again, but they arent completed, or? But is it allowed to put them back in order in the Maria-sama ga Miteru project page? The series (of 33 book) has still so much holes (and a missing translator), so I think every bit that can be filled in can only be good.

Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
Do someone know if we have the allowance to add the other Okazu translations as well?

Not sure, what's the difference?
If we really want it, need permission first....courtesy and all that...

Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
If I understand that right we had at least for some chapters the permission. But is this still valid - also for vol 18 and 20-21?
Btw. I was surprised to see, that the first 5 novel did get a official German translation by Tokyopop but it seems it wasnt succesful...

Re: Maria-sama ga Miteru by Oyuki Konno
Not surprised, with the level of attention we get over here, we don't have much of a English following either.
Hell, publishers should use us as a benchmark....

I mean, why publish 5 novels in German when we don't even have any interest from the German community?

Regarding Okazu, after having review the permission granted I think it's safe to assume that this also covers the script mentioned.
As long as we continue to credit Okazu for the translation, (especially since we have records of the transcription as linked above)
so it's all good.
