Great job on getting vol 10 done so fast now can't wait for volume 8 to be finished. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
I think being a God Slayer would be the funnest job in the world. I can't think of anything more fun then life and death battles with the gods and dragons.

Anyone else bitter at Claire for not giving Kamito his own private space ? She really acts like she actually owns the guy. And to Kamito for just enduring the physical abuse Claire is giving him. Get annoyed dude, tell the girl that you're on the edge from being pissed.

tbh, Claire's chara-type is just too common and annoying. (she reminds me of those heroines who abuse their love interest just because
he was with another woman)

Though the main heroine is bad, I'll still read it for the plot and for Fianna.

I just finished Vol. 2 ~ My opinion of the characters might change as I read the other volumes.

Cheers for our respected translators. I wish you all well.
How far can I struggle when everything I believe for is denied?

Conscience and grace, to the profoundest pit! I dare damnation: to this point I stand, that both worlds I give to negligence, let come what comes; only I'll be revenged most thoroughly..

Claire is a considerably milder version of Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. Claire only throws fireballs at the MC once per volume, and has so far not gone out of her way to acquire a riding crop to beat him half to death with (though she does initially come equipped with a flaming whip).
Spoiler! :
It's only Fianna and Est that use the bondage gear in this one. >.> And maybe she-of-the-leather-bikini Muir. <.<

Hmm. . It's ok to have your own view of things. . . But for me, Claire only acts brutally in the early part of the story, and in some scenes where here tsundere side erupts and stuff, plus with scenes where she interrupts the intimate scene of Kamito and Est. . though she now gives him space because she is thinking about her own feelings and stuff a girl would do when approaching their love interest. . Well, in summary, the story wouldn't be how it should be if the story didn't have a good set of diverse characters right?

but truth be told, my top 3 favorite characters are still Restia, Est and Fianna. Rubia seems to be a 4th so far (up to v7 for me)
Claire being Claire just doesn't come close, =/ Fianna and Est are kind of interchangeable while Restia is forever top spot for me.

I updated the first verse of the chant for Est's elemental waffe in some of the earlier chapters based off of the change made in the terminology page. The chant's second verse in v1ch8 and v2ch8 was different from all the others; I assumed that those instances were not supposed to be special, and also changed the second verse in those two chapters.

Those instances are more of Kamito shortening it. Anyway, thanks for standardizing them, I've always wanted to do it, but too lazy :P

Started reading this due to a friend's recommendation. Currently on Volume 7. The plot so far is good but there's a large obstacle preventing me from enjoying this more.

Claire.

High-5! I feel exactly the same and my opinion has been the same from the start. Claire is really annoying. Sure she mellows down somewhat (even if she is a mild Louise), I still cannot appreciate the whole "slave" thing. Completely unnecesarry and frankly annoying. Thankfully, every other character is great! The other girls do follow the tropes but that has never been a problem for me. Annoying "master" characters however.. Louise has scarred me for life. Darn you Louise.

That said, major thanks goes to everyone who worked on this. Finding this series only now was a good thing since I have many volumes to read. Thanks again everyone :D
