Nah, it's accurate.

It's the adrenaline you get in a near-death situation.
Yeah. That's definitely it. *nods*

11-5
The two arms of the head elite swordsman-in-training were severed and blown away a little before where the wrists were.
and a bit further...
The white arms extended from the bright red long garment were cleanly severed before the elbows.
"A little before the wrists" and "before the elbows" are quite different places... unless his wrists are beginning right at his elbows, which I doubt.

I'd suggest changing the second case like this: "The white forearms extended from the bright red long garment were cleanly severed."

There seems to be some conversation about the scanlation of volume covers.

The reason I didn't photoshop them was that they weren't translated.

If they're translated I'll photoshop them like I did all the others and like I'm planning on doing the remaining ones.

Translate what about the covers?
"Sword Art Online"? "Kawahara Reki"? "Aincrad"? "Fairy Dance"?
Seems kindda pointless if that's what you're referring to.

Or the author's comment?

@Ushwood
"...a little before where the wrists were..."
"...severed before the elbows."

I suppose the "a little" would be the distance between "before the wrist" and "before the elbow".
But yeah, "wrist" and "elbow" were written there, so it's accurate.

I think it's for the volume synopsis and the author's comment on each cover.

Volume 7 Chapter 1
It was early January in the outside world, but even though it was winter, the temperature in Tokyo hardly ever drops below zero due to global warming in the recent years.

However, whether or not it was to show the company's work ethic, Alfheim continued to be under severe cold.
The underlined sentence seems to be unclear... it means that the game is based on reality, but the "work ethic" part confused some people in our project.

I am sure your translation here is accurate (meaning, there are really "wrist" and "elbow" there). But see, anybody who reads "the arm cut before the elbow" immediately imagines "just before the elbow". That's why I suggest replacing "arm" with "forearm" and omitting "elbow". The meaning is absolutely the same (a forearm is before an elbow, yes?) but no confusing expressions.

How about "below" the elbow instead of "before"?

Is "Rondo of the Transient Sword (Aincrad 2nd Floor, December 2022)" of the progressive series so boring? I ask because its still not translated.
I like this chapter and want to read it in English, too.

Well, it's just a question.

Just because it's not translated doesn't means it's boring, it just means that the translators have been translating other works first, and that that is not their main project. As it is a side-story, it is probably secondary to the main storyline.

Pryun is working on Rondo in the side stories section , it's up to chapter 16 in the wiki. (and I like it so far)
He is busy and still he is advancing at a good pace and I'm sure ( well I know to be honest) more chapters are coming up soon.
Translators work when they have free time and some have more some have less , just be patient and grateful :)

Eternal Dreamer was working on the Progressive volume , he did Aria based on the side story translation and said he might do rondo when the side story translation is finished.

on the previous topic, it's above the wrist and below the elbow yet "before" was used on both cases.
I think "below" might indeed fit better ...

Okay... Actually, I got no idea now.
Where the heck is 肘の先?
Above or below the elbow?

Well, the "...a little before where the wrists were..." should be changed to "...a little above his wrists...", though.

11-5
The terrible impact assailed his right cheek and Eugeo was helplessly blown away, collapsing onto the practice arena's floorboards, back first.
"Eugeo!"
Kirito helped him get up straight away, but even that didn't register in his consciousness as Eugeo opened his two eyes wide, dumbfounded.
a bit later...
They lost that radiance overflowing with curiosity when she still lived at Rulid Village, and Eugeo felt nothing but a mere cold gaze concentrated on him as he lay collapsed on the floor.
and a bit more...
Helped up by Kirito, Eugeo chased behind Alice in silence.

11 - interlude 3
That was just like the heart of the Milky Way, densely packed with galaxies of stars......
The Milky Way is a galaxy itself, it can't be packed "with galaxies of stars".

Ok, that's nice to hear, because I like the Aincrad chapters more than the new volume.
