===Part 12===
On the second floor of the building in front of the station, there were the ticket machines where you pay the entrance fee to the station belonging to a private line. The commercial areas were in the basement and on the upper floors, so there were not many people on the second floor. Takeshi ran together with Kurumi, towards the building and they went inside, but when they were halfway there:

"Hey, why don't we run towards the store area?" Kurumi asked running behind him. 

Takeshi then decided to go into the store area whose entrance was off to the side but he had to turn back a little from the path he had traveled. When Takeshi turned his eyes to look towards the entrance of the shopping district, he noticed that there was a guy coming from the other side of the ticket machines pushing people. That guy was Oigami. Seeing Takeshi suddenly stop and turn pale, Kurumi also looked back and shouted. But at that moment someone pulled Takeshi's arm from the side.

"Nanase, over here..."

"Ida? You... why...?"

Completely dumbfounded, Takeshi kept his eyes wide open as Ida forcibly grabbed his arm to pull them away.

"They are chasing you, aren't they? Come this way..."

Ida took them both into a narrow corridor hidden behind a pillar. And when she let go of Takeshi's arm, he began to run into the back of the corridor. A faint stench reached their nostrils. There was a toilet in the hallway and on a door, a sign that read 'authorized personnel only' but there was no time to dither about it. Takeshi turned to look at Kurumi as if to say that Ida was a trustworthy person, but while doing so he realized something and frowned.

"Hey, Isoshima, there seems to be something on your shoulder."

Kurumi was looking at Takeshi uneasily, but when he told her that, her face turned into a disgusted expression.

"Huh? An insect? Oh no... Take it off!!!!"

"Wait."

The insect was of a type they had never seen before. It appeared to be a small butterfly that exuded fluorescent vermilion-colored powder. But for some reason it lacked the characteristic vitality of living things. It looked fake, but it clung to Kurumi's shoulder. Takeshi flinched, threw the insect off Kurumi's shoulder and stomped it right where it landed.

"What was it, an insect? Or was it something else?"

"I don't know, maybe was an insect."

So that Kurumi wouldn't see what she had stepped on, Takeshi took her by the hand again and they kept walking.

"Hey, stop flirting and hurry up..." Ida shouted from beyond in frustration.

"I'm sorry." 

Takeshi started running again. But he still didn't know where to go.
