Ikebukuro's west gate park was covered in a thin, crimson, sunset.

In the corner of the park was a man with long, thin eyes, as well as a European shaped face, sitting on a metal tube bench.

Although it wasn't a rare presence in Ikebukuro, where there were many foreign tourists, the unique atmosphere that surrounded this man was a presence very rare indeed, both in Japan, and abroad.

However, a person who could detect this atmosphere would also be a very rare existence in this world.

"Can I sit next to you?"

After a little more words exchanged, Birdway slowly stood up.

"There's not much to be gained from how I live my life. It's time for me to return, Alchemist."

"Yeah? I'm sorry to see you go, but I won't keep you any longer."

The man named the Alchemist continued to speak to the magician girl.

"It's hard to form ties. In the end, I'd like to leave you a piece of advice, about your actions this time. Although it's something that the majority of people from this world can feel."

In response to Birdway's words, the Alchemist said with a blank expression.

"I don't think you came here because you were interested in what I was doing, but simply because you were chasing after Kamijou Touma, right?"
