== Introduction ==

Baka-Tsuki is a fan translation community started on November 11, 2005 by "Big Boss" [[user:thelastguardian|thelastguardian]]. It translates mostly Japanese light novels (Suzumiya Haruhi, Zero no Tsukaima, etc...) but also some Japanese visual novels.

== How to use this site? ==

At the left of this site there is a navigation bar allowing you to browse through all the Baka-Tsuki projects. When you are on a project page, you can read the translated chapters by clicking on the available links. You can read a presentation of all the projects [[Project_Presentation|here]].

Baka-Tsuki is a wiki, meaning that everyone can edit it but there are some rules to follow (see the [[Format_guideline|format guideline]]). The translations are in '''American''' English.

== The staff ==

The "Big Boss" is [[user:thelastguardian|thelastguardian]] and the wiki supervisors are [[user:onizuka-gto|Onizuka-GTO]], [[user:Darkoneko|Darkoneko]], [[user:the_naming_game|the_naming_game]], [[user:Bicube|Bicube]], [[user:Smidge204|Smidge204]] and [[user:Velocity7|Velocity7]].

== Translators ==

They are the most important people on this site. They translate the Japanese light novels/visual novels from Japanese/Chinese into English (see the [[Format_guideline|format guideline]]).

Baka-Tsuki is always looking for new translators so if you have a decent level in Japanese or Chinese and are interested in joining us, don't hesitate!

If you don't have a lot of time or aren't confident in translating a whole chapter, you can still help us by editing the chapters already translated (and then becoming an official editor).

== How to start new projects? ==

Contributors who wish to translate a new (English) project please refer to the [http://www.baka-tsuki.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=936 New Project Petition Guideline].
