Editing Sorcery Hacker:Volume3 Ending

A purple butterfly flew in.

It silently transformed into a woman dressed as a classical maid.

“#4 Gaugebosonia.”

“Right here.”

A purple rhinoceros beetle shined bright in the morning sun arriving between the mountains. The beetle was decorated with colored diamonds, which were even rarer than ordinary diamonds. In the blink of an eye, it transformed into a short-haired martial arts girl. She was taller than Micha, but her figure was slimmed down to the limit, giving her few soft curves. She wore a short-sleeved miniskirt maid uniform that appeared designed to prevent the enemy from grabbing onto any frilly cloth. The bodyguard maid also wore special protectors on her elbows and knees. She was the type of maid whose fists would fly if anyone called her flat.

Instead of turning around, Micha Angelos simply glanced calmly over at her.

“It ended more or less as reported, Rachel.”

“Is that supposed to upset me?”

They were both the managers of succession weapons, but when they took human form, there was a tradition of using their names from when they were still human. Rachel Seraphim continued with an exasperated sigh.

“As for the wannabe villains in the Council, leaving ''my girl'' to her own devices there didn’t work out at all. If we only wanted to reveal the Council’s misdeeds, we could have let your favorite – Ayato – handle it all.”

“My…favorite?”

“Isn’t he? I don’t know any of the deeper stuff, but none of them, not even the President, knew the truth. That revolver appeared on the stage on its own and then disappeared on its own.”

“But we did manage to confirm that when we could only speculate before. The Council didn’t know the truth. Knowing that is progress.”

“You are dead set on upsetting me, aren’t you?”

The color diamond martial arts girl clicked her tongue and put her hands behind her head. Those hands wore special gloves that could be used for breaking holes in things and grabbing them.

She couldn’t restrain her irritation as the #4 sword. As a protector, she was supposed to point out her master’s mistakes and provide guidance, but as part of a sting operation, she had let that real princess commit misdeeds for a long period of time and allowed some important people see some historically scandalous things. This was a threat to the entire Combined Royal Family, but she felt like the princess had been placed naked on the chopping block where everyone could see her.

Furthermore.

After agreeing to so much sacrifice, they had nothing to show for it. The Council hadn’t known anything of value, so she had to feel like fainting on the spot.

Words of comfort carried no weight, so the #1 sword showed no sign of caring and whispered coolly instead.

“I had a feeling this would happen.”

Her whisper scattered into the chilly mountain air.

When she had hired the Sorcery Hacker to deal with the Council, it had mostly been so he could draw out the devil’s revolver that was lurking somewhere close by. That was partially because she was reluctant to directly face the Council who had previously sorcery hacked Angela Messenger, the #5 sword, but that and even Lord Escalrain had all been side issues.

The main focus had always been that sorcery gun.

The Queen Astaroth Revolver.

She had hoped the Sorcery Hacker would settle that since it belonged to him, but just as she had suspected, it had been too much for him.

(It’s not your fault. You were running away from your past. We were fortunate you could at least act as bait to draw her out.)

“What now?”

“We now have confirmation instead of only vague witness reports. We have our target in our sights. Do you really need to ask what we do now that we have locked on? When we are the ones who thoroughly modified ourselves into the ultimate weapons so we could serve the glorious Combined Royal Family?”

“…”

“We are prototype humanoid sorcery devices who had every last internal organ remade into biological gems.”

Micha Angelos, the manager of the #1 sword of succession, thought on that definition of herself.

The disaster’s identity was no longer just suspicion. They now had a confirmed name and face.

That meant a lot. Next time, she would have more than just a close call in the infirmary.

Now it was time to look directly at the enemy.

“That ''unofficial leaked technical model'' is our greatest shame as the Combined Royal Family’s guardians.”

The purple butterfly and pink beetle spread their wings and flew into the sky.

They were now focused on their true target as they scattered specks of light so unnaturally bright they seemed sinister.

They had no more business at the Academy Towers.
