Thanks Cloudii. Glad to be useful, and working on these projects is a good experience for me as I progress in my Japanese learning process, but encouragement (and maybe the taskmaster's whip) always helps! I want to see Maria-sama ga Miteru through until completion before taking on any new projects (I've got the physical raw novels to start on 5 or 6 others that don't appear to have been done yet), but I'm still no match for NR -- he's really been powering through and doing an awesome job! Speaking of which I need to get back to finishing out the current chapter I'm working on ASAP. I'm addressing this to you, as there is no listed project manager, and you're the only linked translator.
I've been reading your translations of Marimite for a while now, and I've noticed that the project has no current active editors. I've never worked on any editing projects myself in the past, but I'd like to help you and NR by editing this project. I am a native English speaker (Australian), and i think. I would enjoy the work of reading through your translations and fixing the occasional typo/error, as well as any other editing jobs you need me to do. My time is limited, as I'm in my final year at school (finishing October-ish this year), but if you'll have me, I'll gladly put in  a few spare hours when I can, and of course, I'l, check through when. I read your new translations. I'm also ready to check up on the pages for vandalism, and to follow up on the guidelines. Hi simonoz! I've been inactive for a bit (it's a long story involving a hard drive crash, flu, the JLPT N4 exam (I passed yay!), etc.), but I'm planning to be active again relatively soon. I think I only have a page and a half left to do for the chapter I was last working on. Any case, as far as the editing goes, you are certainly welcome to edit as you feel free. If you have a question about a particular word choice or anything, feel free to post it here or on the relevant talk page (or PM me on the forum) and I'll take a look at it. Apparently, I've set this page up to send me e-mail notifications on update, so... :)

Thanks for the comments, Ambjoorn. Chapter 3 for Volume 12 has been posted. That was a monster chapter, and I wasn't sure if I'd make it all the way through, but in the end I did manage it. :) Now to push onward and get going on the next one...

Hello Translator-san! I just want to thank you and all the people who worked, currently working, and will work on Marimite Project. I really love the Marimite series and your translations really did help. It's a shame that some volumes were removed or haven't been translated, but I hope that someday, someone will work on those. Keep it up and I hope in the future you'll get credits that you deserves :-) ++PS: I wasn't able to register on BakaTsuki forum so I'll just post my gratitude here and on BakaTsuki Facebook group++

Hi Lunar Vitae, sorry for the late reply. I saw your post when you made it but must've forgotten to reply. Anycase: Sure have at it! That said, NR is the main translator on this project so he's the one you have to keep happy. ;-)

Hey hey, good to hear from you! I've been working my way through the project over the last year, and have improved the detail and quality of my edits significantly in that time. We've settled on some stylistic guidelines to apply to the "final" prints, but I have only started doing so during the back half of Volume 26. I am planning to edit as I read, then start from the beginning and touch up from there. Ironically, I've only read up to Volume 29, but that's ok. NR's been working hard at a steady pace, and is very easy to work with.
