To continue the discussion we were having, I do want to make one thing absolutely clear:

I am not upset with you--as a person--in any shape or form.

I base this statement on the fact that you previously felt I was being excessively aggressive.  I am simply blunt.  I usually prefer to lurk over posting.  This may explain my viewpoint to you, or it may not.  It does not matter.  Part of my reaction however is that fact that you WERE posting as an anonymous user.  That carries its own stigma on the internet.  In the end, 90% of the second set of text is simply me explaining my viewpoint on why I came to the conclusion illustrated in the first set of text.  Do I want to continue that pointless discussion?  No, of course not.  If my bottom line didn't hint it enough, I considered that a serious waste of time that could be better spent doing more productive things.

If you want to keep up on the translation project, the best way is by reading the [http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=68255 Index Light Novel Discussion] thread on a different website.  However, because the thread is over 300+ pages long and full of spoilers, this will cause you some problems if you are anti-spoiler.  To save you a little pain, you will be happy to know that [http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=3434788#post3434788 Js06 is going to be tackling SS1 next as well after he is done with 14.]  (Do not scroll the screen in either direction if you hate spoilers.)

I'm glad to hear that you're not actually upset with me. That was what I thought, but I guess that's my bad. On my end, I'm not upset with you either. Reading my own posts, I think that I might have unintentionally put that point across. I'm just really defensive. I'm aware of the (usually well-deserved) reputation of anoonymous users, I just figured that one post wasn't really worth registering.

All I've said since the first post is my (again, defensive) reasoning, so I really see no point in continuing this discussion either.

And thanks for letting me know about Js06 and SS1. I'll be eagerly awaiting the completions of volume 14 (I assume an SS won't be overly-plot significant, so I can skip that for now) and SS1. And yes, I'm very anti-spoiler.
