Translators Note

-gozaru

In my previous translation the ending of Soldier Student's lines '-gozaru' was not added, but because Female Knight refers to him by his way of speech, from now on the ending -gozaru will be added to Soldier Student's lines.

Ending sentences with -gozaru is just a way of speech, there's is no particular meaning. But it would be similar in meaning to: "that is" or "that is so" or "indeed"

For those familiar with the anime Kenshin, Soldier Student's way of speech is similar to the main character, Himura Kenshi, instead of saying I or me, they would use the phrase "myself" or "this one" and end with "-gozaru". It is a stereotypical soldier or warrior speech pattern.
