Taniko comes back to her senses, and Melty and Sadina take huge breaths.

The girls' chant is finished, but then, magic power surrounds Gaelion.

Taniko yelps in surprise, Melty's knees buckle out under her.

Sadina, harpoon in hand, runs.

Gaelion gathers the magic power and forms a ball.


“Naofumi-chan and Rato-san, support!” (Sadina)

“Zweit Aura!” (Naofumi)

“Fast Power! Fast Magic!” (Rato)


I lend magical support and Rato covers with physical attack speed.


“Let's go! Gaelion-chan.” (Sadina)

“Gyauuuuuuuuuuuu!!” (Gaelion)


Gaelion cries out.

He takes a deep breath, and shoots the ball of magic.

A flood of water gushes from the ball and we attack.

Sadina dives into the gushing water and raises a cyclone.

These attacks are so much flashier than Raphtalia and Firo's. Could Sadina be stronger?

Sadina’s level isn’t that high.

Is this thanks to the Slave-Shield correction?

Well, a flashy attack doesn't necessary mean a strong attack... but still...!

If I was the old me, I'd complain.

It should be from a robot that transforms using electromagnetic waves, and then attacks the enemy with a fatal technique!


Sadina spins through the Wrath Dragon.

Gaelion takes a hit, and the mass of water disappears.

Sadina lands beside the Wrath Dragon's shoulder. I check the Wrath Dragon’s condition.

Are Rato and I the only ones that can move?


“Rato, do you have a trick up your sleeve?” (Naofumi)

Rato tosses the medicine into a bucket with hot water without hesitation.

It explodes with a bang, and when it dissolves, a strange smell permeates.


“This was expensive... but we have to do something before we die here.” (Rato)

“Give it up... I’ll lure him, let’s retreat.” (Naofumi)


So this is how this ends.


“I'll keep him here; you all escape first. I'll be right behind you guys.” (Naofumi)


I don’t like self-sacrifice. I mean, I have no intention of going down.

Though I'll eat some attacks, it’ll be fine as long as I can avoid it.

We should escape and kill it later. We should prepare for when Raphtalia arrives.

What about Firo? Is she okay? She can’t die... She’s too cute to die.

I hear footsteps to go along with a familiar voice.

I peer behind me to see Raphtalia and Atlas arrive on Firo in just the nick of time.


“Raphtalia Onee-chan... please!” (Firo)

“Leave it to me!” (Raphtalia)

“Raphtalia-san, please help Naofumi-sama and the others!” (Atlas)


Did they prepare beforehand? Raphtalia’s sword is shining brightly.

As soon as the Wrath Dragon sees Raphtalia, its mouth gapes open in fright, and it tries to escape into the safety of the sky.

Why? This composure, where'd it come from? Raphtalia is scary.


“I won’t let you escape!” (Raphtalia)


Raphtalia launches herself off of Firo into the air and slashes the Wrath Dragon.


“ＧＹＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡＡ！” (Wrath Dragon)


It lets out a loud cry. Raphtalia's swing creates fierce wind pressure, and the dragon is cut in half. Two halves fall to the ground.


“Father… I’m sorry. I won’t look back any more.” (Taniko)

『…』(Wrath Dragon)


I stare at Taniko’s back as she clasps her hands together and shed tears for Gaelion.
