Edit question: | |||
Hi there, just would like to check, as I am relatively new to editing here, I normally try to keep the text as true to the 'feeling' the original translation shows, since I believe the awkward wording is an attempt to direct translate into english grammar. So I would sometimes edit the text in an roundabout way to try and keep the content and context the same, while leaving some of the text as is to preserve the Jap 'taste'. Just would like to check if this is true for most of you editors/translators. |
