It's not weird, it's a defining point of Kyou's character to say things like that. Quite simply, she has a creative vocabulary and a tendency to string together unusual metaphors and expressions on-the-fly, as part of her everyday speech. There's nothing "weird" about it; I have the exact same habit in my real life conversation. Anyway, changing that sarcastic aspect of Kyou is like removing Ayu's uguu~s because there isn't a proper english equivalent. It's one of the main elements of her personality that makes her stand out as an individual character. Not meaning to let my Kyou-fan bias show or anything. . . --[[User:ARCC|ARCC]] 15:35, 13 December 2007 (PST)ARCC

That she uses longer and more unusual phrasing to state what can be said very simply is one of her personality quirks that make her interesting. Kyou's "idioms"

Regarding this:

<0079> \{Kyou} "Are you blind? How does this look anything like a dog or a tanuki?"
// Reword, substituted weird idiom-R23
// "Do you have marbles stuffed in your eyes? What part of this looks like a dog or tanuki?"
// \{杏} 「あんたの目、フシ穴にビー玉つまってんの?  これのどこが犬や狸に見えんのよ」

<0145> \{Kyou} "Your life would be over."
// "It just means your life span will shorten dramatically."
// Again, not literal, but it catches the spirit more naturally, I think.-R23
// \{杏} 「あんたの寿命が著しく短くなるだけよ」
