Sinopsis
Cuando su hermano pequeño, Fumikazu, cae en coma jugando a The World, Akira decide averiguar qué ha ocurrido y entra por sí misma en la más excitante, a la par que peligrosa, aventura que jamás conocerá. Allá conocerá al Doble Hoja Kite, cuyo amigo Orca también ha caído en un coma. Juntos se aventurarán en The Wold para descubrir sus más profundos secretos mientras por el camino hacen nuevas amistades que les ayudarán en su empresa.
