Greetings. If you're here you probably clicked on my name wondering who the hell am I. Well, I'm a freelance translator, and Mmy currency of choice is Maplestroy mesos (Extalia private server). I will translate anything from Mandarin to English at a rate of 500k mesos per word. If you don't think that's a fair price then here's some math.

From my Google searches, the average rate for Mandarin to English translations is 0.08 USD per word. So a 3000 word document would cost about $240. If you work at McDonalds and earn $7.25 per hour, it would take you 33 hours of work to get a 3000 word document translated.

On the other hand, my rate is 500k mesos per word. What does that mean? A 3000 word document would cost about 1.5 bill mesos. Assuming that you can make 350 mill per hour. It would take you about 4 hours to get it translated. 4 hours may seem a lot but it’s 8 times better than getting a job, and I can get it done in 3 days. Also, translating is a lot harder than farming in Maplestory or flipping burgers, so I would say I'm worth my price.
