I just wanted to check something. Assuming in every scenario you always kiss Ryou on May 5th. It seems to me that if you pick that you like long hair, you cannot get a Ryou ending even if you later pick an Amethyst pendant and not practice kiss Kyou because this would result in failing to satisfy Kyou requirements rather than doing a Ryou ending. For this same reason, if you pick that you like short hair, you cannot get a Kyou ending even if you later pick a Tanzanite and practice Kiss Kyou because it would be failure to satisfy Ryou requirements. So basically, the preference of hair length really dictates which path remains to be possible (being long -> Kyou, and short -> Ryou)? Seems to be a quite the significant choice.
