Based on the talk about reincarnation, and racial feature of Supardia race, as well as the curse of spear... Does that mean Laplace intend to do the same thing, spread out his own Laplace factor among that race? It fit all the fact: the curse using imbued items, which Laplace has a record of making failed products. The spear has strong resonance with that race, so it's easier to transmit to the soul. Perhaps the mass amount of magic drive their souls to unstable point, causing insanity. The forehead gem is prolly laplace's failed attempt to create magic eye like Kirishika.
