To all of the editors that have trouble with the text.

While i am not saying that the translation is perfect you have to have in mind that this is one of the worst Naboru's volumes and one of the worst chapters in this volume too.

In other words - it is really poorly written and sometimes sentences do not carry out the meaning at all by themselves.

Like lets say Lys edited part of Montmorency's words believing it to be authors words (the part "Now, Robin went...") however it was Montmorency's words even if logically it would be more correct if it wasn't.

A part about Saito becoming hasty once he got some sparks in his eyes... Thats what the text said. For me it sounds silly. How would anyone become hasty from getting sparks in ones eyes and being immobilized because of that.

I checked the sentence and the word few times but thats what it said - Saito really become hasty/impatient while getting his eyes burnt. Frankly, I do not know what Naboru had in mind with this sentence, specially because the other parts talk about different things like Saito being in pain and not able to move, instead of being connected with this one...

Other problem is Louise. Like when she asked "Is Montmorency nice?" she asks the same question in the next chapter that other translator translated as "Is Kirche better than me?". But the question is the same. So now which one we should correct?

If mine then it should be "Is Montmorency better than me?" or if chapter 7th then - "Is Kirche nice?"... Though grammatically seems like "better than me" more correct, her actual Japanese question is more childish like, which indeed is more "is that person nice/good".

Louise talks in a very childish manner while being under love potion so it is hard for me to decide how to translate this part...

  • I'm not an editor, but how about the mix of "Is she nicer than me / than I am?" Also, I'm not an editor but ended up fixing some grammar in sentences without registering myself as a contributor, is that okay? I won't be doing it again at least. :P --DaVince
