I changed "The begin of the second day." to "The beginning of the second day.", however I was wondering if it should be "The second day begins." instead. This seems to fit better with the rest of this chapter, but how does it relate with the rest of the book? Since this is an event they specifically refer to, I capitalized the word.  But I was wondering if it should not be «Declaration of War» instead.  War is declared rather than proclaimed in the United States.  U.S. C<small>ONST</small>. art. I, § 8, cl. 11 ("The Congress shall have Power . . . To <i>declare</i> War . . ." (emphasis added)).

Does she mean email or text message.  Since this is a phone, I am inclined to think text message.  Mail is insufficient, since that word, in plain English, implies something one physically receives from the postal service.
