The actual phrase Haruki planned to use is "baka kaba chindon-ya" (「馬鹿、カバ、チンドン屋」). It's a childish phrase used to taunt/bully people. There doesn't appear to be an English equivalent for this phrase, so it'll be referred to as a "childish insult" instead.

310			いつものように、窓を開けておいてくれてたから、 なんとか窓枠に左手を掛けることができた。	Since the window happens to be open like always, my left hand is somehow able to grab hold of the window frame.

312			窓枠にかけた左手を引き寄せ、 左足も窓枠に引っかける。	My left hand latches onto the window frame, and even my left foot gets in.
313			あとは雨どいに引っかけてある右足を思い切り蹴っ飛ばし、 そのまま窓から部屋へとなだれ込むだけ。	All that's left is to kick hard with my right leg from the rain gutter, and slip into the room just like that.
