20			裏側に『ＳＥＴＳＵＮＡ』と刻印された、 誕生日プレゼントのシルバーリング、だった。	A silver ring with "SETSUNA" engraved on the inside, which was meant to be a birthday present.
21			結局、当日に渡せなくて、 机の引き出しにしまい込んだまま…	But in the end, I never got a chance to give it to her that day, so I just stuffed it in my drawer...

29			そんな、誰もが拍子抜けしない、 けれど過度な期待も抱かせない、 ごく普通の、女性に贈る、クリスマスプレゼント。	It wouldn't be the rain to anyone's parade, but it wouldn't be the spark that lights anyone's flames of excitement or expectation, either. Just a simple Christmas present that's meant for a girl.

32			確かに天気予報では、 今年一番の寒気が来てるって言ってた。	If I remember correctly, the weather forecast did say that this year's strongest cold front was approaching.
33			ホワイトクリスマスの可能性に、 朝からワイドショーのキャスターも少し浮かれ気味だった。	Wide Show's host was also excitedly talking about the possibility of a White Christmas this year, too.	Some kind of informational talk show thing. Apparently it's real.
34			けれど俺は、店内で２時間も迷ってた。	But I spent two whole hours loitering inside the store.
35			だから、目の前に突然開かれた雪景色は唐突で、 事前に仕入れておいた情報なんか関係なく、 数秒間、俺の足を道に縫いつけた。	So despite having known about the possibility beforehand, the sight of this snow-filled scenery came so abruptly that it stopped me in my tracks for a few seconds.

38			世間的に一番歓迎される日に舞い降りた、 望まれて生まれた白い妖精たち。	Just as people wished for, these fairy-like specks of white slowly descend upon us on the most celebrated day in the world.
39			空を見上げてはしゃぐ学生たち。 喫茶店の窓から外を眺めるカップルたち。 少し迷惑そうに早足で駆け抜ける、コート姿の社会人。	Students excitedly look up at the sky. Lovers gaze out the windows of a coffee shop. White collar workers pick up their paces as they feel a bit inconvenienced by it all.
40			嬉しい人も、楽しい人も、ただ迷惑なだけの人も。	People who are happy, people who find it fun, people who simply think of it as a nuisance...
41			今日という日に降る雪の意味を、 少しは理解しているように…	As if understanding what it means for it to be snowing on this day, they...
42			普段より喜んだり、 普段より我慢したり、 普段より、互いの距離を近づけたりしていた。	Feel a little happier, a little more forgiving, and a little closer to one another than usual.

54			今までの２回の乗り継ぎは、 まだなんとかダイヤ通りに運行していた。	The two train transfers I've made so far were more or less on schedule.

102			雪菜に電話したら、 本来の待ち合わせ場所である海浜公園から、 雪を避けて、ショッピングモールの方に移動してた。	After calling Setsuna, we changed the meeting place from the seaside park to a nearby shopping mall, so we could take shelter from the snow.
103			あまり来たことのない場所のため、少し道に迷いつつ、 全力疾走で５分かけて、ようやく雪菜の指定した場所に 辿り着き…	Since I haven't been around here much, I got a little lost, but after a good 5 minutes of sprinting, I finally reached Setsuna...

147			左手で頬杖をついて、 右側にある窓から、外の降りゆく雪を眺める雪菜。	Supporting her cheek with her left hand, Setsuna gazes at the falling snow outside the windows on the right.
148			白い粒は、海の上の空を真っ白に染めておきながら、 けれど海に到達した瞬間に黒く溶かされて、 その圧倒的な戦力差に飲み込まれていく。	They might be able to paint the sky right above the sea in pure white, but those tiny specks of snow prove powerless against the dark, unlit waters below, and are swallowed almost instantly on contact.
149			映画も終わり、食事もあらかた終わり、 俺的にようやく人心地ついた午後９時ちょっと前。	The movie has ended, and we're almost finished with our meal as well. It's a little before 9, and I'm finally able to relax a bit.
150			目の前の雪菜も、 さっきまでの高いテンションは少しなりを潜め、 少し素直に物憂げな表情を表に出し始めた。	Setsuna seems to have reined in her excitement a little as well, and is starting to let her genuine feelings of listlessness show.

924			俺が時々、過去を思い出しても、 そのせいで辛い気持ちになったとしても、 きっと何も知らず、笑顔で励ましてくれる。	Even if I start reminiscing the past, and end up hurting because of it, she would be oblivious to the reasons and simply smile and cheer me up.
925			だからそのうち、心が少しずつ彼女で埋められていき、 かずさを思い出す痛みが薄れていき、 いつか彼女が一番に置き換わる。	So in time, she would slowly fill my heart, the pain from recalling Kazusa would dull, and eventually she would take the number one place in my heart instead.
926			『知らないことが幸せなこともある』って、 あまり俺の好きじゃない言葉なんだけど…	"Ignorance is bliss" isn't a phrase I particularly like, but...
927			でも、その言葉通りに時間が全てを解決してくれる。 …相手が雪菜じゃなかったら。	But by following this phrase, time would solve everything... If it was someone other than Setsuna.
