16			木崎さんが担当している作家の川添慎吾先生は、 執筆のため葉山の別荘に籠もることが多い。	Kizaki-san is in charge of the author Kawazoe Shingo-sensei, who always hides out in his mansion at Hayama.
17			かなりフランクで気前のいい人のようで、 別荘を訪れた来客には、高価な酒と、海の幸満載の ご馳走を振舞うことも多く、編集者の人気は高い。	He's a very frank and straightforward person, and whenever people visit his mansion, he treats them with expensive wine and seafood. He's very popular within the editing department.
18			多分、木崎さんは今日はもう…	Kizaki-san... probably won't be coming back today.
19	松岡	Matsuoka	「後で飲みにつれてってくれたりとか、 フォローしてくれるんですよね。 あ、俺今日明日なら空けられますから」	"If you wanna grab a drink after work, let me know. I'm free today and tomorrow."
20	浜田	Hamada	「…もう嫌コイツ」	"I've had it with this kid..."
21			浜田さんが怒ってるってことは、 今は教育できる余裕があるってこと。	Hamada-san is upset over the fact that he can't teach for the life of him.
22			問題は、[R教育される側^まつおかさん]まで その事実を見透かしてるってことで。	But the real problem is that even the person who's supposed to be taught has noticed it.
23	鈴木	Suzuki	「今週いっぱいかかる？　そこを何とか！ ええと、２３日の２０時まで…駄目？ じゃあ２４時…ええい３６時でどうだぁっ！？」	"You're too busy this week? Please, think of something! Uh, I need it until 23rd's 20 o'clock... You can't? How about 24 o'clock... Ughh, 36 o'clock, then!?"
24			で、鈴木さんは２４日の休暇申請を 何とか確定させようと、週明けから 根回し工作に奔走しているとか。	Suzuki-san wants to take a day off on the 24th so she's been running to and fro trying to get all her work done since the start of the week.
25			一見忙しそうに見えるけど、 年末進行の峠を越した編集部に、 つかの間の、ほんの少しの平和な時間が流れていた。	Even though everyone seems busy, we've made it through the truly busy period. Everyone in the editing department is enjoying a sort of fleeting time of peace.
26	麻理	Mari	「ちょっとみんな会議室に集まって。 緊急ミーティング」	"Everyone, please assemble in the conference room. We need to hold an emergency meeting."
27	春希	Haruki	「あ、でも木崎さんが出先に…」	"Ah, but Kizaki-san just went out..."
28	麻理	Mari	「いいわ、残ったメンバーだけでやりましょう。 彼には私が後で説明しておくから。 北原、悪いけどみんなの分のお茶持って後から来て」	"That's fine, we'll just hold it with all the other staff. I'll fill him in afterwards. Kitahara, I'm sorry about this, but could you get tea ready for everyone before you come?"

31	麻理	Mari	「今日、とある月刊誌が発売になったんだけど… その中に一件、見過ごせない記事があったの」	"Today, a certain monthly magazine released its latest issue... There's an article in there that we can't afford to ignore."
32	浜田	Hamada	「なんだ？ こっちが追ってたネタを抜かれたのか？」	"What is it? Is someone plagiarizing our stories?"
33	鈴木	Suzuki	「それって誰かが情報を売ったってことですか？ あるいは人ごと抜かれたか…」	"Or maybe we have someone leaking information? May be someone stealing information, even..."

37			久々に、お茶くみなどというバイトらしい仕事を与えられ、 ちょっとばかり手元のおぼつかない自分が恥ずかしい。 …もう一つの方のバイトじゃ本業なのに。	I haven't done something like delivering tea for a while, so I'm not sure if I can do it... I'm a little ashamed, since this really is something a part-time student should do.
38			にしても、年末進行も過ぎ去り、 年の瀬も押し迫った今ごろになって、 あの麻理さんの緊迫した面持ちは…	Still, with the year near its end and most of our work done as well, why would Mari-san call for an emergency meeting...?
39			もしかして、これが開桜社全体を巻き込んだ、 大いなる一大事の幕開けだったとかいうことは…	Maybe it's something so big that it could drag the entirety of Kaiousha into it...

42			『一大事』の中に『大いなる』という意は とっくに入ってるじゃないか。	If it's really that big, they must be discussing something important in here.

45			盛大にこぼした。	I spilled the tea.
46	麻理	Mari	「じゃないって！ ほら、主役は真ん中に座れ。 飲み物はちゃんとある」	"Oh no, you won't! Come on in, the main actor should be in the middle. The drinks are all prepared already."

51			麻理さんに手を引っ張られ、 会議室の真ん中…普段の議長席に座らされた俺は。	Mari-san pulls my hand, and drags me to the middle of the meeting room... where the chairman's seat is located.
52	春希	Haruki	「アンサンブル２月号…」	"Ensemble's February issue..."	Something's strange here. They're discussing the "February" issue that "just released", but the date ingame is December 21st. Two months early? Can't make sense of this, could someone check and confirm? Refer to lines 31 and 100 for cases of "released now/this month"
53			目の前にある一冊の隔月刊誌を見て、 ようやく皆が何をしようとしてたのか、 なんとなく悟った。	After seeing the volume of the monthly issue magazine in front of me, I can kind of guess what they're trying to do.
54	鈴木	Suzuki	「おめでとう初掲載。 記事読んだよ。面白かった～」	"Congratulations on releasing your first article. We just read it, it's really interesting~!"
55	松岡	Matsuoka	「何か昔のドラマみたいな話だよな。 不良の女の子が周囲との触れ合いによって、 才能を開花させてくみたいな」	"It has that feeling of an old drama. A delinquent girl started to change after interacting with others, and eventually bloomed at the end."

61			想像の遙か上を行っていた三年後の姿。	Even after three years, her looks are still far beyond my imagination.

93			そういえば俺も、 誰かさんの卒業決定を祝って、 こんな『くだらないこと』やってたっけなぁ。	Come to think of it, I also organized a "boring event" like this to celebrate a certain someone's graduation.

It's on par with the same article I wrote. …Well, mine was just slightly better."	she's not bragging here, because her article is simply too good and famous… saying it's “better than her own article" would feel more like an insult, because everyone know it's not true
