Volume 8, Chapter 2  : 


Oh, my goodness, you can understand my sorrow, my pain, right?  


One moment I'm attacked by White Kämpfer, the next I'm nearly beaten to a pulp by Akane, 

and the next I'm being entrusted with something important by Sakura Kaede. What's going 

on? Is this world programmed to torture me? On purpose? Is it?  


After the fireworks ended, we decided to head back to the hotel. Where do all those guys 

stay?  


My bones are falling apart. So much has happened. I keep feeling like I'm on fire. Did the 

burning fireworks fall on me?  


Kondou Mikoto and Akane look upset. Why? Shizuku is still the same, but who knows what's 

going on in her dark mind.  


As I transformed back into a man and dragged my exhausted body with the current, I saw 

Sakura Kaede waving at us from a distance. What?  


"I'm so sorry," she said as she walked towards us. For some reason, I felt very nervous.  


She lowered her head, apologizing not just to me, but to all of us.  


"I got separated from everyone, so I watched the fireworks alone. I could have just called, 

but the fireworks were so beautiful, I couldn't help but..."  


I asked Sakura Kaede, clasping her hands together.  


"Um, Sakura Kaede..."  


"I'm so sorry, Natsuru -san."

of viscera, like a Pokémon plane.  


"How were the fireworks?" Seppuku Tiger asked.  


"Nothing."  


I wasn't in the mood to watch; we were fighting.  


"We saw it clearly, and it was beautiful from the window, too, wasn't it, Black Rabbit?"  


"Yeah, it's nice to be in a hotel, so relaxed."  


Seppuku Black Rabbit smiled like a strange uncle. I'd long noticed how different his 

personality was from a rabbit.  


I sat down on the bed.  


"It's not even a question of knowing or not knowing. I almost died."  


"Natsuru, you always almost died."  


"So annoying! We were just watching the fireworks, weren't we?"  


"Of course we were. We can't leave."  


Indeed, a doll with its entrails flying out of its stomach wandering around the hotel would be
