Volume 9.5 Chapter 3  


    Being at home, I really do love my own home the most. And I have my own room, and just 

being here makes me feel at peace. I might become a total otaku in the future, but I'll just let 

it go.  


    My date with Akane ended without incident. After lunch, we played for a while, and then 

after dinner, it was over. We had a lot of fun, and nothing strange happened. I  


    said goodbye to Akane at the station. While it might have been better to just walk her 

home, I decided not to.  


    Most importantly, Akane acted completely relaxed the entire time. I was still worried 

Shizuku might attack from somewhere, but she seemed  


    completely relaxed. From now on, it's completely my own time. Should I finish the game I 

was playing, or watch the recorded game? It's up to me.  


    Suddenly, there were knocks on the door.  


    "Hey —Natsuru —open the door —" 


    The moment I heard the knock on the door, I was already sprinting downstairs.  


    Of course, I knew who was responsible. If it were a salesperson, I could have ignored it, but

    said my childhood friend, Kondou Mikoto.  


    This girl still had her usual short hair and easy -to-move -in outfit. The reason seemed to be 

"so she could go treasure hunting at any time." She'd been flying around the world since she 

was little, and it seemed like that mentality had developed in her . She was a female Indiana 

Jones.  


    She'd been incredibly lively since she was little, and that's been further honed. Although 

she'd grown into a strikingly beautiful woman when we met again, since we were childhood 

friends, there wasn't much of a "so what" feeling.  


    "You're really loud."  


    "Call that energetic. For a showdown with cheerful Latin people, that's just the right 

amount."

    It occurred to me that this girl had experienced something like that. It seemed to be

    With that, Mikoto swaggered into my house as if it were her own. Where was my privacy 

going?  


    "Have you eaten yet?"  


    "Yes."  


    "What —ah, I finally came to make you curry?"  


    "Curry again?  


    I really can't eat any more." "Just eat it well. Forget three meals a day, ten would be fine, 

wouldn't that be nice?"

    Mikoto often comes to make me dinner like this. I don't ask her for anything; it's more like

    Mikoto is carrying a shopping bag. It looks like it contains ingredients, probably frozen

    "Can you lend me a cup? Natsuru drinks black tea, right?"

    How come he knows exactly what I like? He even knows the placement of the cup and tea

    The water is already boiling. Mikoto poured it into the kettle.  


    "Here, here you go."  


    "Thank you,"

    We sat across from each other.  


    Mikoto tilted the coffee cup roughly on the table. Usually, I drink straight from the bottle,
