FX: *knock on the door*

Yuuri: Hey, Conrad! Are you in here? Eh... He's not. Uhm... I guess it's fine if I go in. This is kinda disappointing.  I was sure he'd be in his room. Where did he go? As always, that yellow thing is in the top shelf.  What's weird about it? The fact that such a thing occupies the best location in this chic room.　"Hi, good evening, Captain Ducky. How are we doing today? " 

Ducky: *squeaky sound*

FX: *a door opens*

Yuuri: Ah! Is that so? Every now and then you want to bathe with people? Well then next time let's visit the large, private bathtub of the Maou.

Ducky: *squeaks*

Yuuri: No, no. No need to thank me! But anyway Captain Ducky... where did the person who lives here go? Do you know his whereabouts?

Dukie: *three slow squeaky sounds*

Yuuri: Ah, you don't know... obviously, huh?  But hey... what am I doing?

Conrad: *laughs*

Yuuri: Ah! Conrad!

Conrad: Your Majesty!

Yuuri: What are you laughing about?! If you're here then say so!

Conrad: I'm sorry. Seeing Your Majesty making different faces was so amusing that I unintentionally forgot to say something.

Yuuri: It wasn't unintentional. You're mean. Also... Conrad.

Conrad: Yes?

Yuuri: Don't say "Yes?"(T/N: don't pretend you don't know what I'm going to say). It's nighttime already and working hours are over, so don't call me Majesty.

Conrad: You're right, Yuuri.

Yuuri: Hm. When I saw you weren't here I was a little surprised.

Conrad: Sorry, I had a minor issue to take care of and came right back, but then I saw a strange Ducky play and... unintentionally started to watch.

Yuuri: Ugh. I'm sorry it was the absolute stupidest performance.

Conrad: No, no. It looked like the absolute cutest thing ever.

Yuuri: That doesn't feel like you're praising me. Ah! I'm sorry. I took it without asking for permission, Captain Ducky...

Ducky: *squeak*

Conrad: It's fine. Your Majesty, uhm.. no I mean, Yuuri, you have the right to do whatever you please with everything in this room.

Yuuri: "Right"? I don't like the sound of that. I mean, I'm sorry I touched Captain Ducky without permission, but... I don't think I have any right to share your room.

Conrad: I'm sorry, I didn't use the right words. But, since you are the current lord of the Blood Pledge Castle, and this room is a part of it, in that way, all of this belongs to you. Including its inhabitants, too.

Yuuri: Mmm... That might be true but.. in other words, I'm like the owner and you're like a tenant?

Conrad: Yes, I guess you could say that.

Yuuri: But if that's the case, that's even more reason I can't do selfish things. An owner that interferes in their tenant's private lives is a bad owner. My father and mother would definitely say so, too.

Conrad: Shouma and Jennifer?

Yuuri: Jenni-<ref>Yuuri's mother's name is Miko, but she likes to call herself Jennifer.</ref>... uhm.... yes. At home the owner is my dad, the manager is my mom, and Shouri and I are freeloaders who have promised to repay them after we are successful. So we never interfere with what's in each other's rooms.  But, well... sometimes my mom can't help herself and invades with a vacuum. 

Conrad: I see.

Yuuri: Ever since Shouri entered university, he gives a portion of his part-time wages to the house's funds every month. On top of that, it seems like he recently opened an account with a lot of money at the bank where my dad works. My situation is getting worse and worse.

Conrad: Why?

Yuuri: Because my dad's favorite line is, "If you make an account in our bank, I'll treat you like a customer." And so the two of them drink and have dinner while watching night games<ref>In Japan it's quite common to take clients out for drinks.</ref>.

Conrad: Are you jealous? But according to the laws in Japan you are a minor and you made the rule for yourself to not enter smoking areas to protect your health, right?

Yuuri: Yeah, that's right but even during dinner my mother says stuff like "You're awesome Shou-chan" and gives Shouri an extra crab croquette.

Conrad: *laughs* Crab croquettes, huh? So you're jealous.

Yuuri: Ah... no. When I stared at it, Shouri put the croquette on my plate. 

Conrad: *laughs* Shouri sure likes to spoil his little brother.

Yuuri: Eh? Compared to the way you guys raised your selfish prince, I got spoiled a lot less.

Conrad: The way we raised him you say...? Gwendal and I had nothing to do with the way Wolfram's character development. According to what the Former Queen says, that personality comes completely from his father. 

Yuuri: Father? Now that you mention it... what does Wolfram's father do?

Conrad: He's from one of the ten noble families, but he has already passed away.  The Bielefeld territory is now overseen by Wolfram's dad's younger brother, in other words, his uncle. And he is also a man with a severe personality that values lineage above all else.

Yuuri: Ah, that person?  I got a brooch with golden wings from Wolfram a while ago<ref>Novel 1, Chapter 10.</ref>, but I feel like its previous owner was his uncle. But I've never met him, right?

Conrad: He did come to the coronation ceremony, but there were so many people that day...

Yuuri: Ah, yeah, there's no way I'd remember him. Well then, it's better if I go and greet him properly sometime, yeah?  There's the future to think about, too.

Conrad: Yes. When you meet him, you should wear that golden-winged brooch somewhere he can see it.

Yuuri: Why?

Conrad: Because he'll get bitterly angry and cry.

Yuuri: Ugh. But, it's strange to hear you speak like that about someone.

Conrad: It is isn't it? I said too much.

Yuuri: No. Ehm. What were we talking about again?

Ducky: *squeaks*

Conrad: This, right?

Yuuri: Ah, that's right. Captain Ducky. The other time you said it was a treasure of yours didn't you<ref>Drama CD 4, Maou-sama to Jinan to Sanan, Yoku Aru Fuukei.</ref>? That's why I felt sorry for touching it without permission. 

Conrad: It's fine. If it's you I don't mind. So once more, here you are.

FX: *gives him the rubber duck*

Yuuri: Ah, thanks.

Ducky:*squeaks*

Conrad: I'll lend it to you. You're going to let him float in the Maou's private bathtub, right?

Yuuri: You heard that part too. But, is it ok?

Conrad: Sure. Clearly Captain Ducky will also be happy to swim in open sea.

Yuuri: I see. Then, I'll be taking it with me...

Ducky: *squeaks*

Yuuri: *laughs* Captain! It's time for departure!

Conrad: You're cute, aren't you? 

Yuuri: Eh?

Conrad: Uhm, no I said, "You're thoughtful, aren't you?"<ref>In Japanese the two lines can sound slightly similar? (kawaii vs kangaebukai)  Conrad was definitely stretching it here.</ref>

Yuuri: Why did you say that?

Conrad: It's nothing, I was just thinking that you've grown up, to.

Yuuri: What are you saying? You sound like a grandpa who lives in the country when he sees his grandchildren after a long time.

Conrad: Well from an Earth perspective, I actually am quite an old man after all, aren't I?

Yuuri: What are you talking about? 

Ducky:*squeak*squeak*

Yuuri: Is this thing is quite old?

Conrad: That's right... I think it's something that I was given about 15 years ago?

Yuuri: 15 years! Then it's from when I was still a baby. This says "Made in..."

Conrad: "U.S.A."

Yuuri: I thought it was made on Earth. So, who gave it to you?

Conrad: Why don't you try and guess?

Yuuri: Eh? No hints?

FX: *dialogue starts to fade out as music fades in*

Conrad: You don't know already?

Yuuri: Is it someone I know?

Conrad: That's why you get no hints. 

Yuuri: Mnngh... At least give me one hint.

Conrad: Nope.

Yuuri: Why?

Conrad: No means no...  

Yuuri:  Just give me one!

FX: *music*
