I love twin-tails. 


That the world is beautiful is because there are twin-tails within it; I've thought it so for as long as I can remember. To me the Sun is not an orb shining in the sky, but a hairstyle. To say it's everything to me might be a bit... no, it's no exaggeration. In any case, to the point that they're irreplaceable to me, I love twin-tails.


”Twin-tails," roughly speaking, is a hairstyle tied on the left and right sides. It looks best with long hair, but I'll admit short hair is cute too, and simply put, it's quite girly. Variations are plenty, and within twin-tails are hidden countless possibilities. Even if they don't know what it's called, most people could paint an image of it in their head with an explanation. However, it seems society has labeled it childish. Adolescent girls who want to seem more mature tend to see childish things as a minus point, and in their uncertainties and anxieties they cast them off. Sadly, this also includes twin-tails.　Forced to make a choice, they are weeded out by the passing into adulthood. Once they're an adult, it is rare to find someone who looks good in twin-tails. 

And for the guys, well, it feels stupid to even displease him by unreasonably request that person to do it.

That’s why………… once they become an adult, twin-tails quickly become non-existent.

It's better that way, and it’s probably normal.

But, I’m different.

The older they get, the more they grow, it’s like I admire them, or like an attachment…………… or kind off an obsession, I personally experience this kind of feeling meaninglessly get stronger.

I unconsciously find twin-tails when I’m in a crowded area, and the image editing software in my head, is at the level where, it possess a high-level action where a single button can paste a twin-tail layer on top of them anytime I want.

Although it doesn’t hurt since it’s done unconsciously, a big portion of my daily life is comprised with twin-tails.



....... Well then, when I repeatedly shout twin-tails twin-tails to this extend, there are some that I became good terms with, and some who think it’s a good time to go and do their task they just remembered.

It’s always like that.

But even so, I won’t regret it.

I won’t feel timid.

The world where continuing to love the things I like, is the best.

Just because it’s not popular, I feel it’s wrong to change your hobby and preferences or to lie to yourself because of that.
That’s why, its irritating.

Even if I like twin-tails this much, as a guy, I can’t become a twin-tail.

No matter how many years passed and my hair grows long, even after finally tying them up, it's not a twin-tail.
The only thing I have is the heart to love twin-tails.

In a real way to put it, I might not be able to understand twin-tails.

That’s why, I wish that this spirit would turn to reality, that would be good.

These feelings----- it'd be nice if my spirit would have its body, and appear right in front of me.

That will probably become my ideal twin-tails.

If that happens, how much of a wonderful thing it would be.

I always have that kind of dream.
