‘Lawrence of Arabia’ is a 1962 British epic film based on the life of T. E. Lawrence. The film depicts Lawrence's experiences in Arabia during World War I, in particular his involvement in the rebellion against the Turks. The film was nominated for ten Oscars at the 35th Academy Awards, and won seven, including Best Picture (from Wikipedia).
