Inside the Amakusa family living room, around the time 7pm.

“Are you serious………….”

I let out a voice of admiration while looking at the food spread out on the table in front of me.

A steak dripping with meat juice and rich sauce, capriccio with assorted fishes, pasta into something three-dimensional way as an arrangement, white stew giving out steam at the right temperature, and a fine colorful salad. All of it is a little too luxuries for a normal dinner.

I wasn’t the one that made these dishes.

“This is the first time cooking for Kanade-san so…………..i might have went too far”

Even though approximately half a day passed since the impactful change but, Chocolat was still doing things right.

She did not sleep in class and was taking down notes normally; she would shock the teacher by giving an accurate answer when she was questions; during break time too, our classmates showered her with questions and she replied them logically, making them perplexed.

A never ending smile and reserved gracefulness, but her splendid behavior would not make anyone feel any distance to her; she’s exactly the manifestation of everyone male’s convenient imaginations.

When will I wake up? was what I felt when I looked at her as if I was watching a dream but, even if I pinched or hit my cheeks, there was no signs of waking up; bringing us to this point.



“No……this is……….”

Chocolat who saw me in lost in words after seeing the food, placed her hands inside her chest pocket and took out a bundle of money.

“Ah, of course, I worked out the necessary cost for it from here so; it will not influence the family’s finances at all”

No, I am not worried about that……………….even though I saw her actually do the cooking, it was still hard to believe that Chocolat was the one that made these.

“Okay, please eat before it gets cold”

“Y-yeah…………..”

I extend my hands to the food while still unable to accept the scene in front of me.

“……….delicious”

No, it’s already a known fact that it won’t taste bad by its appearance but, the taste completely exceeds my expectations.

“This level is enough to ask for money…………”

I have confidence that I have some good cooking skills but, the dishes lined up in front of me, has a quality of a different class.

Chocolat joined her hands in front of her chest and smiled.

“I am happy that Kanade-kun likes it”

“Uu…………..”

I felt somehow very embarrassing so, I urged Chocolat to eat to play it off.

“Ch-chocolat, you eat too”

“No, I will eat the remaining after Kanade-san is satisfied”

……………..i could not believe my ears.

Even if she gained her memories, I never would have imagined that the Food craving demon would say those words…………..

“N-no, I don’t like that so, let’s eat together”

“I understand, if Kanade-san says so then”

Chocolat distributed each dish into a small plate and moved it into her mouth. 

Because her actions were so refined; it was completely different from her previous way of eating which was perfect for the sound *Paku**Paku**Musha**Musha*.

My eyes were fixed on her because her beauty was enough to be art.

Having noticed that, Chocolat stopped moving and opened her mouth apologetically.

“Kanade-san, errr……………..it’s embarrassing when you look at me eating………….”

“So-Sorry”

I quickly looked away and choose a dish.

“…………….”

“…………….”

Chocolat and I moved our respective chopsticks in silence………….what’s with this atmosphere.

“L-let’s on the TV”

Unable to bear the silence, I extend my hands to the remote control.

“Hn….Hmuu……Ah………..”

A passionate kiss scene was on. The couple hugging wildly then fell onto the bed like that.

“Oi oi, why is this being shown during 7------uu”

Right when I changed the channel, I accidentally met with Chocolat’s eyes which were staring at me. Her cheeks were slightly blushing.

“Ah, So-sorry. I was the one that told you not to look at me just now and yet……………”

“N-no, I don’t mind……………”

“…..”

“…..”

We immediately looked away and kept quiet……………..seriously, what’s wrong with this atmosphere!



“I am done eating”

After a few minutes later, Chocolat quickly announced that she was done eating.

“Eh, is that enough?”

“Yes, this is enough”

Not much was diminished from the dishes on the table, and it felt as if only a pinch of it was gone. Are you serious……………however, even without comparing to the old Chocolat, I think her food intake is too little compared to a normal girl.

“Hey, you don’t have to be so reserved you know”

“Thank you for your concern. But, servants of god have extremely good energy ratio so, we don’t need to take in nutrients from food that much”

“……………….eh?”

“I enjoy the activity called eating so; I would eat a bento with the girls in school but, judging by the point of maintaining my life; taking in the amount of 1 meal for several days, would be enough. That’s why, I am already full”

“………..”

“Err…………Kanade-san, is there something wrong?”

I silently stared at Chocolat’s stomach when I heard that impactful truth.

If that story was true then, what happen to the enormous amount of food that disappeared in there.

Having guessed my question, Chocolat placed both her hands on her blushing cheeks.

“Err………………I am sorry. There’s something wrong with the me until yesterday. Even though I am a girl, it really is shameful that I devoured things like that……………..”

“No well, leaving that aside. If Chocolat is not eating anymore then………….”

On the table, there is at the very least an estimate of 5 people worth of food. I thought that she considered herself when she cooked.

“All of this is my portion huh…………..”

“I am sorry, I guess it’s too much……….”

“Errr, there are things to preserve them and disposing them is also an option-----“

“No, I will eat everything”

“Kanade-san”

I have a small appetite for a male but, there’s no way I simply could leave any food that a girl made for me.

I made up my mind and continued eating.

Un, it’s delicious like I thought. The taste is first class so, that point is a life-saver.

“……Hn? What’s wrong?”

After a while, I noticed something weird about Chocolat. She was acting shy and was trying to say something.

“Err……………I caused a problem to Kanade-san because of my clumsiness so, I will help you eat”

“Help?”

“Err…….meaning…….”

While hesitating to say it, she took a piece of the steak with her chopsticks and moved it to my mouth.

“……….like this”

Oi, doesn’t this mean……….

“………….ahhn”

My thoughts froze when I heard the words that came out from Chocolat’s mouth without any hesitation.

“N-no, this is a little……………”

Chocolat’s eyes looked slightly wet when I respond to her by bending behind in reflex.

“……….was I being an annoyance”

“Uu………..”

………That expression is cheating.

“I-I get it, go ahead……………..”

One complete turn; Chocolat nodded happily.

“Okay, ahhn”

The steak brought out to me, entered my mouth while I felt perplex.

“Un……delicious”

After slowly biting it down, I gave out my honest opinion.

But, Chocolat looked away for some reason.

“What’s wrong?”

“Err………it’s more embarrassing…….than I thought”

……….what’s with that.

“……..I-I see. It can’t be helped if it’s embarrassing”

“I am sorry, any further……is just…………”

“I-I’ll eat the rest”

“Y-yes……….”

“………..”

“………..”

Like I said, what is with this atmosphere, seriously………..

Within the awkward silence which occurred who knows how many times already today; I quietly moved my chopsticks.



“Upuuu…………..”

After 1 hour later, I finished eating all the food.

“I- I am done eating”

“No, Osomatsudeshita” <ref>Used as a reply to gochisousama </ref>
 

After smiling happily, Chocolat lowered her head politely.

“I really is delicious and I am not trying to flatter you………okay then”

<nowiki>*</nowiki>Pan**Pan* I stood up while patting my bulging stomach.

“Kanade-san, what’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong? I am just going to clean the dishes”

“If that’s the case then I will do it, you can go and relax”

“No no, you cooked so let me do this at least”

“No, I am a freeloader so, let me do it”

With house chores being my daily routine, doing nothing will make me feel uncomfortable but, it seems that Chocolat won’t budge.

“Well, if you are saying that much then, I guess I’ll ask you to do it……………I wonder what I should do”

“Ah, how about taking a bath? I turned on the hot water switch just now when I was cleaning just now so I think it’s about time for it to fill up”

Just when I wondered why she left her seat when I was eating; she even did something like that too huh.

“I will now prepare a change of clothes for you”

“Ah, no, you don’t have to go that far…………”

I tried to stop her but she ran away.

After a few minutes, Chocolat came back to hand me a set of clothes with a bath towel.

“Here you go”

“A-aah, thank you…………”

I could not hide my lack of composure because of her attentive care.

“Kanade-san, what’s wrong?”

“Aah, no………nothing”

While standing still on place, Chocolat starred at me who was not heading towards bathroom and looked as if she misunderstood something.

“Kanade-san……..err……….can you let me prepare my heart first?”

“Huh?”

“Kanade-san look is showing………….[come in together and wash my back] right?”

“No, that’s wrong but……..”

I immediately denied that but, Chocolat, who entered her weird delusion mode, did not hear me.

“Err……..i can try hard for the back but………………I will be thankful if I don’t have to wash your butt too because I can’t see from the embarrassment………….”

“Like I said, you’re wrong! I didn’t think of wanting you to wash my butt!”

“Uuu…………..err……..for the front, it’s impossible no matter how hard I try”

“What kind Ero manga is this!”

I left Chocolat, whose cheeks were blushing really heard and ran towards the bathroom.



“Kanade-san, how was the temperature??”

Right when she was done washing the dishes; Chocolat wearing an apron came to me when I exited the bathroom and returned to the living room while drying my hair with a towel.

“Aah, it’s just right”

“Is that so. I’m glad”

This refined smile………even though she showed it to me many times already today, the odd feeling lighten up even by a little.

“Chocolat, can I have a moment?”

“Yes, is something wrong?”

Nothing will be fixed if I keep enjoying this changed situation. I have to have a good talk with Chocolat.

I made her to sit on the sofa, and after preparing 2 people worth of juice from the fridge, I sat opposite her.

“I was shocked the whole day and could did not have the chance to get a good talk but, I want to have a clear grasp of your condition now.

“……………that’s true. I also prioritized my feelings to serve Kanade-san and I couldn’t give you a detail explanation”

After introducing that, Chocolat started talking about herself.

“We, just like the name God’s servant, exist only to execute missions given by God”

The story Chocolat talked about, was the full information I already got from the flashy god and it would feel like this if it went down chronologically.

1.	Chocolat (The working version) served God everyday energetically. 

2.	She lost her memories at a certain point. She could not remember how it happened. As a side-effect, her personality even changed and she turned to the useless version.

3.	She kept playing around and continued living a lazy life.

4.	The manual given to Chocolat by God. It seems that she was suppose to go to A. Magusa .Ganadouru(It’s someone living in another world and is totally unrelated to me but, because of an annoyance, he has another name called Amakusa Kanade). Most likely at the same period, there was another manual sent to an excellent servant too who was suppose to come to me. 

5.	God, was scolded [You thieving cat!] and shut herself in while pregnant.

6.	The Flashy God took on the later jobs of the God that was shut indoors.

7.	Chocolat, the excellent servant, was dispatched to many worlds but, she was sent to me by some kind of mistake.

8.	 I spent my days with the rotten NEET Chocolat.

9.	 She regained her memories this morning <-- Right now over here.


How Chocolat lost her memories and, the reason of the switch, there were several points I was curious about but, the biggest reason that caused this problem to become annoying is the God that shut herself in.

She’s the one that knows the situation but, because she shut herself in with a soap-opera-like reason, I can’t grasp the whole situation at all and has no choice but to clear missions I am told to do------No, that’s wrong. 

If I am right, the flashy God said that even the shut-in God does not have any details of the curse and someone was making me do it; that should be it.

If that’s the case, then that [Someone] is the real culprit that sent those Absolute choices to my head to make me do those absurd and messed up actions.

Which means that, there is a [3rd God] that I don’t know off.

Incidentally; judging by the story just now, Chocolat is only acquainted with the shut-in God and I probably can’t expect any information related to the [3rd God] from her.

“Err………Kanade-san”

I was pulled back from my thoughts when I heard Chocolat’s hesitating voice.

“Y-yeah, what’s wrong?”

“I can only look after Kanade-san but……….is it okay if I stay by your side from now on?”

She looked up at me, and was making an uneasy expression. It seems that, she was fretting over the fact that she could not provide any useful information to me.

“As I've said from before in the classroom, I will use all my strength to repay back my rudeness I caused until now”

“No, you don’t really have to use all your strength you know. I just can't ask you to leave after all this time”

“R-really”

The moment she heard my words, Chocolat’s expression flipped from her clouded look which she was showing from earlier, to a smile that looks like a flower.

“Are you really that happy?”

“Yes, it is my pleasure to serve Kanade-san”

Even though her personality changed, her stance towards me is unmoving huh.

However, isn’t this just too unnatural? When she was in her bouncy condition, I went “Well she’s like that” and did not think too deeply into it, but just why would this serious Chocolat like me without any clear reason? That was the question that came up.

Right when I was thinking, Chocolat *Suu* stood up.

“Kanade-san, can I sit beside you?”

“Eh, yeah, I don’t mind”

I replied that and she quietly walked to me before sitting right beside me.

“Pardon me”

“A-aah…………….”

I get oddly nervous when this Chocolat come beside me…………..rather, I might have said I don’t mind but, isn’t this just too close?

Well you know, her arms and thighs are definitely touching me…………

And Chocolat being Chocolat; she’s embarrassed even though she was the one that chose to be so close.

As a result; both of us were stuck in silence.

“….….…”

“………..”

Seriously, how many times does this make………………someone please do something about this weird atmosphere…………

“………..errr, Kanade-san, this might be a problematic talk but, can you listen to me?”

After a few seconds, Chocolat opened her mouth hesitantly. If she’s able to help us escape from this awkward situation then I don’t mind no matter what topic it may be.

“What’s wrong?”

“I love you”

“BuPuuu!”

I spit out the juice stuffed in my mouth by reflex.

“Oh my, this is a problem”

Chocolat did not show any behavior of disgust and used her finger to wipe the drools around my mouth.

“N-no, it’s okay, I’ll do it by myself. Leaving that aside…………….what did you just say?”

“No way, saying it again is embarrassing but………..i love you”

“L-love, hey you…………….”

Even though it’s something she said many times already, the destructive power is incomparable if Chocolat says those words directly to me in this situation.

“Err………what does Kanade-san……think of me?”

“Uu…………”

Chocolat brought her face closer and looked up at me.

“N-no, even if you ask me suddenly like that…………wait, what’s wrong?”

The moment I pulled my body back by reflex, Chocolat suddenly changed.

“Kanade-san………….you want to cure the Absolute Choice right?”

Light immediately disappeared from her eyes and turned into empty eyes.

“Huh? Well, that’s obvious but, why that sudden----“

“Then please obey me”

“What are you saying all of a sudden……Oowah!”

Both my shoulders were suddenly grabbed and I was pushed down onto the sofa.

“Chocolat…..what are you……….”

My head can't keep up with the sudden developments. I tried to get her away for now but, Chocolat’s strength was oddly too much and I could not resist.

Chocolat leaned onto me while looking up at me and directed me with those empty eyes.

“……………can I please kiss you?”

“Wha……………”

Without giving any chance to get surprised; she brought her face closer.

“uu………..”

Looking at her again, her appearance is so cute that it’s just plain cheating. What’s more, her blushing face and empty expression bring out an unbalance factor, causing an additional odd sexiness.

Most likely; the Chocolat now won’t hate me no matter what I do. Even if I kiss her like how she wants ………..and even if I take a few steps further.

Those delusions were giving off an irresistible charm.

But………..i mustn’t.

Chocolat could not wait any longer and brought her lips to the touching zone.

“If Kanade-san won’t do it then, I will-----“

“Wait a sec!”

“Kyaa!”

I used all my strength and raised my body. Chocolat, who was horse riding me, fell off the sofa.

“Haaa……….Haa……..”

Kuh…………….i didn’t want to reject her this far but, our lips will definitely overlap if it continued on.

I extended my hands to Chocolat since I was the one who first stood up.

“A-are you okay, Choco----“

Chocolat woke up and hugged me as hard as she could.

“Uoou!”

Her strength is tremendous as usual, and I got pushed backwards because I failed to hold my ground.

“Ouch!”

With the momentum of being thrown, my back slammed onto the kitchen cabinet.

Chocolat go of her hands around my neck and pushed my shoulders to the kitchen cabinet.

“Let’s…….kiss. Don’t you want to……..make the Absolute choice disappear?”

Kissing will make the Absolute choice to disappear? What’s going on? No, now isn’t the time to be thinking that!

“Ch-Chocolat, anyway, let’s calm down”

Weird…………This Chocolat is weird no matter how much I think about it. Just what happened to her?

“Are you really that reluctant……..to kiss me”

No good, her eyes are still empty and she isn’t in a condition where I can talk to her.

“Kanade-san………”

Chocolat brought her lips closer again. Thi-this is bad. Both my shoulders were restrained and I cannot get off her grasp.

“S-stop!”

The moment the back of my head slammed the kitchen cabinet after I shouted------

“Uuu!”

Something fell off the shelf and hit Chocolat’s head.

“Uuu…………….”

Maybe the spot was bad; Chocolat wobbled, and fell onto her butt.

I confirmed the object that fell to the floor.

This is………a cookie container.

Chocolat pressed her head and stood up beside me.

Kuh…………..what should I do. I have to do something or the same thing will occur again. I retreat backwards will staying cautious to Chocolat.

However, Chocolat stood up and looked at me with a surprised look.

“Hoe?”
