Withstanding the violent collision, Listy Sherfied felt very surprised.
 
Listy's barrier had deflected some of the dragon's charge. However the force behind that enormous body -- had drove the elevator they were riding into the middle of the building.
 
With the defense barrier unfolded before her eyes, on the other side, the face of the ferocious dragon was clearly visible.
 
However, Listy's surprise wasn't from the fact they received an attack or that it was by a dragon.
 
-- The moment they walked into the elevator she naturally assumed it could be used as a ambush spot. Therefore she thought if the moment arrives they could break up elevator's roof, floor, and directly escape into the elevator shaft, or even break open the doors or wall and escape into the interior of the building.
 
But, even if they fled up or down the dragon would have just changed its angle to match their height. And even if they fled to an interior floor of the building, because of the dragon's mass and speed that too wouldn't have had any meaning.
 
Therefore, Listy instead decided to launch a protective barrier.
 
She thought that her quick reaction was absolutely the right one.
 
However, how Akatsuki responded far exceeded her imagination.
 
Back when -- the dragon rammed them with its large body and forced them into the building. Only because of Akatsuki's actions they didn't damage their spines.
 
-- In fact they went through several walls before they stopped.
 
To start there were the doors to the elevator, beyond that there were the thick walls used for the facilities on the floor one after another. Not only that, in those rooms there were also various large-scale equipment.

Every obstacle in the direction the dragon was coming from was swept away.
 
Of course - there was also the option of attacking the oncoming Dragon itself.
 
However, if he was unable to completely stop the dragon, herself and Akatsuki would have been flattened into patties. Still though, with Akatsuki's personality it was almost a certainty he would choose to take the enemy head-on, however dared not to do so.

The whole floor vibrated from a loud explosion.
 
Missing its target at the last second, the dragon had smashed through the floor or several floors below them.
 
"That was really close......"
 
Having both of them safely land on the floor below, Listy greatly exhaled.
 
"Well, I must admit...... I never expected the dragon would launch such a suicidal attack."
 
And Akatsuki lightly looked over his right shoulder.
 
Listy on the other hand -- looked around the wide space not just with the huge hole in ceiling they came from.
 
"This...... is the arena, isn't it?"
 
"Ah. This is largest arena JPN Babel has. This is also the first time I've been here."
 
"And yet you were quite familiar with its location......"
 
Listy leaked a voice of admiration, which Akatsuki laughed,
 
"Just in chance of an emergency, I already committed to memory as much as I could about JPN Babel's structure and layout. Then going by the last floor we were at in the elevator and the angle the dragon was coming from it wasn't hard. Erm after all..... the space is so big even if I guessed wrong I would probably still end up being right."

"Yeah, it is so......"
 
Listy again tighten her expression.
 
At the same time, the floor of the large arena vibrated.
 
It was not surprising. The dragon merely brushed past the two, and hadn't lost the ability to fight. Then the shaking become twice as intense, and the vibrations continued to overlap.
 
After the fifth shock wave, an earth-shattering noise burst out.
 
There not too far away, something abruptly pierced through the floor.
