==Prologue==

“It has now been delivered:-----Your invitation to the <<Rein Conference>>.”





What is <<{{Furigana|7 Lunar|Rein}}>>?----

That was the important term chosen for a group of seven people in pursuit of the <<Absolute Duo>>.

They who were crowned with the <<Sepher Names>>, symbolizing the stars, were walking along different paths even though the <<Absolute Duo>> was the main goal.

Even so, they would have a meeting in one place sometimes.

That was the banquet that went by the name <<Rein Conference>>. 

And now-----there was an invitation sent to the Kouryou academy chairman-Tsukumo Sakuya.

“I have been ordered to tell <<Blaze Diabolica>>-sama, that the supervisor is eagerly awaiting the day.”

“I am honored. Please tell the supervisor that I am looking forward to this banquet.”

After confirming the contents of the invitation handed to her, Sakuya smiled to the servant who was dispatched by the man at the center of the <<{{Furigana|7 Lunar|Rein}}>>. 

---But, the moment the heavy door closed when the servant left, the girl sunk her small body into the chair and let out a big sigh.

“You don’t look happy at all, Sakuya-sama.”

"Feeling down when thinking about having to attend a worthless 'banquet' is only natural."

In front of Mikuni who was right beside her, Sakuya released a second sigh.

She does not feel that meeting other the <<{{Furigana|7 Lunar|Rein}}>> members would provide any sort of benefit to her actual goal: the advancement of her <<Lucifer>> research.

Honestly speaking, she felt that it was just a waste of time.

(………….No, that is not necessarily the case.)

Suddenly, the thought of a member of <<{{Furigana|7 Lunar|Rein}}>>-----the <<Equipment Smith>> who had sent his minions, going by the name <<{{Furigana|God’s Destruction Team|Libel}}>>, to infiltrate ''her'' academy twice now. His name popped in her mind just as she was dismissing the entire idea of the conference.

The fight with the men wearing battle suits called <<Unit>> had created an excellent chance for her to see the talents of the first year students, including those of the branch school.

What she wanted to see was the natural talents of the people fighting.

She wanted to see if they could win against their fear and fight when their lives were on the line-----

In just one night, she was able to see the the sprouting of talent that would normally only appear after taking on several missions.

Although the girl was almost kidnapped, she thought of the great results gained in the process.

(Now that I think about it…………..)

Several students stood up to defend the black-clothed girl; they took action to save her after she had been kidnapped.

They fought against life-threatening danger with the <<Irregular>> boy as their leader, and because of their strong will and tenacity, they were able to find victory and send the <<{{Furigana|God’s Destruction Team|Libel}}>> away a second time.

Because of that, the leader of the enemy team seemed to have developed a strong attachment to the <<Irregular>>. 

Sakuya felt some kind of flow, a connection formed between the two of them.

(Which means, it might be very interesting to intentionally arrange for them to bite into each other next time.)

“…..You look quite happy, did you think of something?”

“*Giggle*......I changed my thinking just a little bit, and found an unexpected source of joy."

Mikuni questioned how much his master's demeanor had changed in a short time.

However, after he gave it some thought, he concluded that there must be something related to her research at the banquet after all.

Even though he had no clue what kind of relation there was, Mikuni knows that the black-clothed girl prioritizes anything that will bring her closer towards the goal of the <<Absolute Duo>>.

Without any further words, Sakuya stood up.

“Where are you going?”

“I will be going to the research lab. There is something I want to prepare before the banquet. Although I suspect I would have finished it already if not for this useless banquet in the first place.”

Even though she said that, he was now sure that the girl would not let the banquet end uneventfully.

“I am looking forward to this. Just what kind of flower will he bloom as? *giggle*, *giggle giggle*……….”

The girl in black clothes smiled in front of the opened door.

A smile that would send chills and goosebumps down the spine of any stranger who saw it.




And thus, the banquet would begin.

The meeting of the peoples who have a connection to the <<Absolute Duo>>------the <<Rein Conference>>.
