The sun rose up and it was the next day.

“Hamuu………Hamuhamu……….hamuhamuhamu”

It’s decreasing. The breakfast lined up on the table was slowly decreasing as I watch it”

“Hey, Choco-----“

“Wraht ish it, Kanade-faan”

Chocolat, who  raised her face, looked like a hamster with a stuffed mouth.

“No…………..i guess I’ll leave it after the meal…………”

“? Twehn I’ll do that”

Chocolat said something mysterious before returning back to her meal.	

I looked at her with the feelings of unable to say anything.

And after a few minutes, Chocolat was half-way done eating and took a moment to rest, before wiping her mouth in satisfaction.

“Fuhaah. It feels like I didn’t eat for 1 year”

“……….it’s definitely your imagination so don’t worry”

She’s back…………Chocolat got hit on the head by a cookie container and is completely back to normal”

“I won’t be able to hold back if I see all these delicious food in the morning”

After saying a very abstracted comment, she once again stuffed herself with the food; there was no trace of that graceful figure from yesterday at all………of course, that goes for that rampage too.

“Kanade-san, why are you making such a difficult face?”

“Aah, well there’s something in my mind………..but, aren’t you eating too much?”

The amount of side-dishes was normal (it’s still 3 times more than what a normal person could handle though) but, the number of time she asked for a refill reached a new record of 2 cups more compared to the normal amount until now.

“Fufu, that’s not true”

Chocolat stopped her chopsticks and walked over to me. She then showed her stomach in a somewhat skilled manner.

Impossible………….even though she said that her stomach would get full after a bit yesterday……….does her stomach capacity change depending on her memories?

“………….hey, Are you really sure that you can’t remember anything from yesterday?”

“Yesterday?................i remember waking up and feeling something hitting my head but, did something happen after that?”

She’s purposely acting like a fool……….no way, especially for this Chocolat.

“…………well, it’s okay I guess”

I was curious about many things but------

If I see her eating that happily then, I don’t feeling like caring about the even that happened yesterday.

“Hn? Is there something on my face?”

“……………..well, there are many rice stuck around”

“Oooh, now that’s a waste”

Chocolat picked off one rice at a time and shoved it into her mouth. I think her behavior of a girl is a problem but, she it seems that she doesn’t really care about it. It’s a great difference compared to herself from yesterday who gets embarrassed when she’s being looked at while she’s eating. After this too, she gulped down the rice with incredible energy.

And, after a few minutes.

“I am doneee eating”

“To think that you reached a record of 5 cups………..”

The refrigerator I stocked up with a great amount of ingredients all disappeared…………..The moment Chocolat stood up energetically while I looked tired.

“Ah………..”

Chocolat quickly picked up something that fell onto the chair from the back of her pajamas.

“You, that’s………”

“Th-there’s nothing”

She’s clearly avoiding looking at me.

“Let me take a look”

“Aah, Kanade-san, you don’t have to be so forceful”

I forcefully took away the object she quickly tried to put behind in her back.

There were definitely 2 of them inside this, meaning that half of it decreased.

It’s rare to find a person this bad at lying……..however, just when I thought It wasn’t enough when I told her not to eat this; I even changed the placement for it so, just did she manage to find it. 

“Chocolat…….i won’t get angry so tell me the truth”

“R-really?”

“Yeah”

It’s basically confessing her mistake at the point when her eyes glowed but, I stopped myself from retorting that and waited for her response.

“Actually. When Kanade-san was making breakfast, another delicious smell flowed from another place………”

She sniffed out the smell of the wrapped sweet bean jelly in the furthest back of the drawer…………..what kind of nose do you have.

“I then found the sweet bean jelly when I opened the drawer”

……Houu, even though an absolute proof was in front of me, she’s still trying to act innocent huh.

She’s seriously happy…………I’ve never seen an idiot like this before.

“It was very delicious”

“So you did eat it!”

I got kind of pissed because she acted as if she was the victim and lightly pinched her cheeks.

“So this is the mouth that ate someone’s food and still lies huh”

“B-because, it looked so delicious”

“You; do you put anything in your mouth as long as it looks delicious”

“……..looks like you have quite a thick nerve”

“No, I am not praising you! What kind of brain do you have!”

I let go from pinching her cheeks and glared at her again.

“I am sorry……….”

Seriously, how stubborn are you when it comes to food…………then suddenly, I remembered something and wanted to confirm something Chocolat said yesterday.

“Hey, God’s servant doesn’t have to eat so much because the energy efficiency is good right?”

“? What are you saying Kanade-san, I don’t understand you”

No, you should be able to……….

“I heard this from your mouth that you could survive for several days by eating once………..”

Without caring about my retort, Chocolat continued her words in her pace and showed a smile after looking back at me.

“I feel very happy if I eat delicious food”

Just like what she said, that smile looks really satisfied.

I somehow feel like an idiot for shouting at her.

I leaked out unintentionally.

The smile of this leisure Chocolat is more charming than the smile Chocolat showed yesterday.

“I don’t hate……looking at you eat too anyway”

I mumbled quietly to avoid letting her hear me.



“Okay Chocolat, we should get going-----“

After changing my clothes and checking my appearance, I returned back to the living room to find a unbelievable scene.

“Hamu………hamu………”

“…………by the way Chocolat-kun………….what are you doing right now?”

“Fue?”

No matter how much I stare at her, the scene in front of me wouldn’t change. Chocolat was there stuffing the remaining Toraneko sweet bean jelly into her mouth.

“Fufu………ufufu……….”

I got closer to Chocolat while making a creepy voice and grinded her head with my clenched fist.

“O-ouch”

Chocolat had teary eyes.

“Okay, I wonder what kind of wonderful excuse you will give me this time”

This is a crime with no excuse acceptable. I will not forgive her even if she give me whatever arguments she has this time.  I will have to punish her by reducing her food for a period of one week which cannot compare to a pay cut.

However, Chocolat’s next words froze me.

“B-because, Kanade-san that this side suits me better”

………..Huh?

“Y-you said that just now with a soft voice”

“Idi……..you, wh-why did you hear it!?”

Sh-she heard that mumble? My face temperature jumped up instantly.

“After that, you said that you liked watching me eat food”

“Wha………..”

Sh-she heard that too!?

“So, I thought it was okay to eat it and…………Err, Kanade-san, why is your face red?”

“S-shut up! Let’s get to school already!”

“Ah, wait for a bit. I am almost done eating----“

“I’ll eat it so give it to me!”

“Aaah, what a harsh starvation tactic”

I snatched the sweet bean jelly away from Chocolat and moved it to my mouth.

“Sweet…………”

Maybe my taste-buds turned weird because I lost my composure; the high-grade sweet bean jelly which are praised to have a delicate taste, only felt like a black cluster of sweetness.
