== Afterword ==

This work was essentially a remake of Volume 1 of ''Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko''. You could think of it as something akin to the ''New Theatrical Edition'' of ''E○○○○o○''<ref>The heavily censored name here is “Evangelion”, the famous anime. The ''New Theatrical Edition'' is better known in English as ''Rebuild of Evangelion and'' is intended to be an alternate reality of the original series.</ref>. However, since I have never actually seen the television version, I’m not exactly sure what the differences are, so I’m not certain if that analogy is even accurate.

Regardless, since it was intended to be like a theatrical film, I tried to write with that kind of pacing in mind, though I have no way of knowing to what extent I succeeded. In fact, I suspect I had failed.

Furthermore, there will be no “Ha” nor “Q” after that<ref>“Ha” refers to ''Evangelion: 2.0'', and “Q” to ''Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo''. The naming comes from the words ''ha'' and ''kyuu'' that refer to the middle part and final part of a song, respectively.</ref>.

Come to think of it, though it is entirely out of context, I once received an offer to work for a certain publishing company about six months after my ''début''. It was a place that anyone would likely recognise by its name. At the time, I was a clueless, or should I say, pure-hearted young man from the countryside, so I was easily talked out of the job by a charismatic editor (he told me to wait until I had grown as much as Iwase of the Chunichi Dragons in 2007<ref>The Chunichi Dragons is a professional baseball team, and Iwase refers here to the player Iwase Hitoki.</ref>; looking back calmly, he was asking for something quite unreasonable). I find myself remembering about stuff like that occasionally.

Whenever I go outside, people mistake me for a NEET, a comedian, someone working to contribute to Japanese culture, a calligrapher, a dance instructor, or even a judge for the Gunpla King Championship<ref>The Gunpla King Championship is a Gundam plastic model contest. The elements judged are assembly, painting, and modifications done to the models.</ref>; however, I intended to keep doing my best.
