Delinquent 1: What's your excuse, Shibuya Yuuri?

Delinquent  2: If that's so, is Harujuku disadvantageous<ref>The pun Yuuri always hears. Shibuya Yuuri: means "Shibuya is advantageous". So they change Shibuya for Harajuku (both are well known train stations) and instead of advantageous they say disadvantageous.</ref>?

Yuuri: In the past 15 years, I've heard that bad pun about 50,000 times.

Delinquent 2: I didn't ask you anything! *punches Yuuri*

Delinquent 1: Because you got in the way, the person who was going to give us money ran away.

Delinquent 2: We were just 'collecting money' from Murata Ken's wallet.

Yuuri: In what country is that legal!? Pull out a map and show me where!

Delinquent 2: At any rate why did you come to save him? Are you guys friends? Or do you have a secret crush on him?

Yuuri: Shut up! I like the name Ken. Ken and Tsutomu are my top favorite names.

Delinquent 1: Huuuh? A name that you li~ke? A name that Shibuya Yuuri Harajuku Fuuri likes!? Hahahaha. 

Delinquent 2: Then we'll have you take Murata's place.

Yuuri: Hey, stop it! Don't just take people's wallets!

Delinquent 1: Eh? What's this? You're really low on funds, huh? There's only two blue bills<ref>Two 1,000 yen bills. That's about 20 bucks.</ref> here. We need 20,000 yen at least. 20,000 yen. 

Delinquent 2: Shibuya-chan, welcome to this place over here!

FX:*pushes Yuuri into the girl's bathroom*

Yuuri: No way guys! You're not delinquents from 10 years ago so, you're not, you're not going to put my head in the toilet and flush, right!?

Delinquent 1: Well, we'll make an exception to show it to you in this day and age.

Yuuri: Let me go!!!

Delinquent 2: If you get in our way, we'll kill you! Next time it'll be serious!

Yuuri: Mphmmm

FX:*flush*

Yuuri (thinking): Hey, there's something wrong with this toilet! I'm getting sucked in! Waaahhh~!!! .... The first in human history!? Will I be the first guy in human history to be flushed down a toilet!?

FX:*intro music*

Yuuri (narrating) : My name is Shibuya Yuuri. This started soon after entering a public high school, when I was on my bicycle and saw my friend<ref>He says friend, although technically at that time they were more like acquaintances.</ref> Murata Ken getting extorted for some money. I guess it would have been better if I hadn't noticed the delinquents... But I couldn't continue riding by bicycle after seeing that. To make a long story short, I got my face pushed into the toilet bowl by two delinquents and before I could figure out what was happening, I was lying down in the middle of a place that seem to have come out of "Heidi, the girl from the Alps".

FX: *goat bleating*<ref>Interestingly enough, the goat is going 'meh' in Japanese or 'baa' in English, the sound that cats allegedly make according to novel 2.</ref>

Yuuri: Ah... ah? Where am I?

FX: *footsteps*

Yuuri: Uhm... excuse me! Lady cosplaying as a fairy tale character...

Girl: *screams*

Yuuri: *screams* Ah! I'm sorry! Please excuse me for scaring you! But I absolutely have no intention of hurting you or being violent...

FX: *people come out of their homes*

Yuuri: Wow, there are a lot of foreigners cosplaying as fairy tale characters coming out one after another...

FX: *scared crowd*

Yuuri: Uhm.. excuse me, where am I?

FX:*scared crowd*

Yuuri: I can't understand anything besides 'ah!' and 'oh!' Oh, I get it! The mystery has been solved! No, I mean... a big group of foreigners wearing cosplay... it has to be a theme park, right!?

FX:*crowd mumbles*

Yuuri: Ah, so that's how it is. I'm really stupid for not figuring it out right away. Even so, where are we? Judging by the ambience, is it that Russian town in Niigata? Wow, those guys really dropped me far away, huh?

FX: *throw stones*

Yuuri: Ouch! Why are you doing this, people from the Russian town? Why are you throwing stones at...?

FX: *horse neighs*

Adalbert: *speaks gibberish* *gets off his horse* laughs*

Yuuri: I'm really thankful that you stopped those people from...

FX: *Adalbert grabs Yuuri's head*

Yuuri: Ouuuuch! Don't grab my head! 

FX: *Adalbert uses houryoku, it's super effective!*

Yuuri: My ears!

Adalbert: How's that? Can you understand what I'm saying now?

Yuuri: Ah, as expected. It's strange to see a foreigner speaking Japanese fluently. *uses fake foreign accent* Excuse me, where are we? How can I get home? 

Adalbert: Huh? Just when I thought this maou looked good, it turns out he's just an idiot?

Yuuri: Idiot!? How can you call a young boy who is easily hurt an idiot the first time you meet him!? I mean, well, I got enrolled in a public high school so it's not like I surpassed anyone's score and someone would be jealous of me. And I'm sorry to keep insisting, but I'm a returnee child, I was in Boston for half a year after I was born<ref>This information, although it's the same as in the first novel, is contradicted in future novels, since Yuuri was in America at least until he was 3 years old and got lost and ended up in the gay pride parade. Oh, and btw, he's using the whole returnee child thing as an excuse for being 'average'... of course this doesn't apply to him who had a Japanese family and has always spoken Japanese and never had compulsory classes in any other languages, but he's still using living in the States during his first (half a year! / three years) as an excuse for not being particularly bright.</ref>. But at any rate, I'm not an idiot, I'm not!

FX:*Yuuri stands up*

Townsperson 1: The Mazoku stood up!

Townsperson 2: It's a real mazoku, wearing black, who stood up! Hurry up and take the children inside!

Townsperson 3: It's too late! This village will be burned down like Kentenau, twenty years ago!

Townsperson 4: Wait, this one is still young and unarmed ! If you can get a person with black hair and eyes I hear you can get the power of eternal youth. They're offering a reward in the country to the west.

Townsperson 5: Be careful even if he's unarmed this guy is a mazoku and he should be able to use majutsu.

Conrad: Get his majesty at once! 

FX: *kohi shrieks like an eagle *

Yuuri: Ah? Why am I flyi... Uwah! What's this skeleton thing? You've got to be kidding me!

Adalbert: How clever! Using kotsuhi to transport him!

Conrad: They are loyal to us; and they don't lose themselves to personal grudges.

Adalbert: And how about you, Lord Weller? *swords clash* Woah! That was close... close. Don't you think your skills are too good to serve those guys (the mazoku)?

Conrad: Unfortunately, Adalbert, my love isn't as single-minded as yours.

Conrad's subordinate: Your Excellency!

Adalbert: Oops! I guess it's time to blow in the wind. We'll meet again, your Majesty. Lord Weller~!

Conrad's subordinate 1: Wait!

Conrad: Let him go, don't over do it.

Conrad's subordinate 2: But he's alone!

Conrad's subordinate 1: If we chase after him, we'll probably...

Conrad: Right now our top priority is taking his majesty to safety.

Conrad's subordinates: Yes!

Yuuri: Uh... 'skeleton specimen'-kun, am I being kidnapped by the good guys or the bad guys right now? And ah... thank you. I'm sorry, if I'm heavy.

Yuuri: Ha.... for the time being, I'm just wondering if I can get off this really well made floating ride soon...
