Yuuri: After the Sandbear's attack, Gwendal and I, who separated from everyone else, were mistaken for an eloped couple for some reason, and chained together by the wrists. 

After escaping that place somehow, we ended up in a deserted rocky area sleeping out in the open...
(end of monologue)

FX: *fire cracking*

Yuuri: Ah-choo *sniffs* Uwa~... It's so cold... Even though it's really hot during daytime, the temperature drops sharply at night, huh?

Gwendal: In this area there are few plants so it's only warm while the sun is up, in the evening the heat is lost quickly. Here, drink.

FX: *offers Yuuri water he had been boiling*

Yuuri: Warm water? No, it's fine. I'm not really thirsty.

Gwendal: Drink. Even if you're not thirsty, at least it will help you warm up a little.

FX: *dolphin call * (not sure if the key-chain is actually making a sound, or the sound is just there to note that Gwendal is staring at it)

Yuuri: *holds back laughter*

Gwendal: What?

Yuuri: No, it's just the key-chain I got. Do you like it?

Gwendal: *clears throat*  I just thought it was well made. Does it have a name?

Yuuri: The dolphin? Uhm, let's see... it's probably Bandou-kun or Eiji-kun

Gwendal: It's cute.

Yuuri: No, it's not cute at all. Arghh. But really, what are we going to do about these chains!?

Gwendal: They have strong houryoku <ref>The holy magic that counters demon magic.</ref> in them. We can't unfasten them. If we try to tamper with them, your wrist might break. 

Yuuri: Right? *sighs* 

Gwendal: Tomorrow we'll arrive to the city of Svelera.  It's best if we try to find a priest that can use houryoku to take them off.

Yuuri: Hmm. Listen, Gwen.

Gwendal: Hm?

Yuuri: Do you think that Conrad and the guys are alright?

Gwendal: Wolfram's case is different, but if a man like Conrad were to lose his life after meeting a Sandbear, that would become a story that would be told for centuries. (*They're fine)

Yuuri: But aren't you even a little worried? Like... what if something really happened to them...?

Gwendal: Both of them are first-class soldiers.

Yuuri: How can I explain this to you... ? Mmh... It's a game that takes place in a world that's not real, where you can fight with a sword or use magic. Shouri really likes those, you know?  But if he knew that his own younger brother is the Maou in another world, without even thinking about it, he'd run here so fast no one could catch him.

Gwendal: I see...

Yuuri: We fight all the time, but I guess that's because we're so close.

Gwendal: Hmm....

Yuuri: But you know? To be honest, you and your brothers are closer. The bonds between you are so strong, that they form a real "union of brothers". On the other hand, the two of us just watch T.V. and laugh like retards.

Gwendal: Is it entertaining?

Yuuri: Sometimes it is.

Gwendal: Hm... To laugh at something you're watching together, is proof that your hearts understand each other. There's nothing that can form stronger bonds than that.

Yuuri: Well... you might me right. 

Gwendal: The life of us mazoku, when compared to that of humans is a lot longer. If we only had as little time as they do, we wouldn't normally be able to form that kind of bonds.

Yuuri: Even if you say that, I think you're an amazing older brother. Your younger brothers completely trust you, that's easy to see.

Gwendal: Actually he's the one who resembles me.

Yuuri: Gwendal is fast asleep. Ah.. he looks like he's sleeping without a worry in the world. I wonder if Conrad and the rest are really alright?

Gwendal: Chure, everything's fine....

Yuuri: What? Are you awake, Gwen... Eh!?  "Chure"?

Gwendal: There, there... you chure are a good boy Bandou-Eiji-tan. <ref>"Tan" a suffix even cuter than "chan". Usually used with pets or something really small and cuddly.</ref> You don't need choo be afraid. It'ch okay~. Your big brother-tan won't let anyone hurt chyou~

Yuuri: Eh? He's sleep talking?

Gwendal: Ugh,.. Ghhn... Wah~! No...

Yuuri: What's going on now...?

Gwendal: Go away! What are you doing? Stop it right now...

Yuuri: Gwen?

Gwendal: Ah~! Anissina! Please don't use it on me, so let me go.... Oh~! Your nose is running, it will definetly get on...~!  Hey, Günter! Stop panicking like an idiot! What? You're splitting it in two? You're splitting the rabbit in two?! <ref>Probably referring to the fact that Günter sometimes tried to tell the future using small animals.</ref>

Yuuri: It seems something terrible is happening...

Gwendal: Ah~! No, not that little one. Anissina, please, not Bandou-Eiji! You're so subborn... someone help!

Yuuri: Some strange person is making his dream scary...

Gwendal: Alright, I understand. I'm a military man. I have a family. Family... Where is my family? Fine, go ahead and do whatever you want!

Yuuri: Family? He wonders where his family is?

Gwendal: *cough* Ugh! Agh! Ahhhh~! *snores*

Yuuri: It's over... But, who is this "Anissina"?

Gwendal: *snores*

Gwendal: Uh, what is this? Ugh? Ah! Ah! Anissina!!! 

Yuuri: He's dreaming again about this ?!
