Every time I come back to this page, I'm so happy to see that you're still doing translations. I love reading about Kino and Hermes's travels so much, and I can't thank you enough for staying on this project so diligently. Rock on! Hi, and thanks for the encouragement! I myself couldn't believe that I've been keeping at this for three years now (well almost). On the other hand, I'm also disappointed that I haven't caught up with all volumes yet, but anyway... I'll keep working on it! ^_^ Ella.servantes (talk) 02:26, 21 January 2015 (CST)

Thank you so much for translating volume 11's last chapter. I can't wait to start reading it. I want to know what will happen to master Shizu, Riku and Ti in their journey. Thank you so much for everything, Ella. Greetings from México. --Schwars (talk) 13:17, 2 April 2014 (CDT)

Um, Ella, can you translate vol.11 afterwords? Somebody in the front page's discussion section is nagging about it... BloodyKitty (talk) 04:27, 24 March 2014 (CDT)

Hola!!!

Muchas gracias! ^_^ Ella.servantes (talk) 08:40, 10 December 2013 (CST)

Greetings from México, Thank you so much for translating "Kino no tabi". Unfortunately, the novels will never be available here, that's why I do appreciate your work so much. You're welcome and thanks! Um... I can't say I haven't considered that idea, but it's very unlikely (I only read volume 1, but I haven't transcribed or translated it because 1) most of the chapters in that book are very long... 2) I already know what's in them because of the anime 3) there are lots of volumes left to work on.) However, I've always thought a copy of volume 1 has to appear somewhere on the net at some point... People just keep asking about volume 1. Gosh I personally do want to read it too, but in Japanese, since I might nitpick the changed details in the Tokyo Pop version, and it might take a long while for me to get any better at reading Japanese. How long have you study Japanese, Ella-san? Also it seems you have been quite busy lately. Me as well, since I must finish my work to graduate from school in the next February. Don't stress yourself too much :). I wish you good luck. BloodyKitty (talk) 02:22, 22 December 2013 (CST)

It's been so long, BloodyKitty! Wow, this February already? Good luck on the home stretch of your studies! Yup, unfortunately, busy enough that I have to put aside our beloved series... and indeed, all the questions about volume 1 frustrate me to no end... >_<

Learning Japanese... hmm, there's no exact answer... because even though I learned my first vocabulary and hiragana 12 years ago, in reality the time devoted for active learning (as in doing lessons and practicing on a regular basis) is actually less than a year: 5 months when I took a 6-unit language elective in university, and the rest from self study sessions that took anywhere from 3 days to 2 months (for some reason, I couldn't last any longer than that, but I'm still trying -_-). I think many learners become comfortable with listening and dictionary/hiragana-assisted reading early on in their studies (especially those who immerse themselves in Japanese media), but learning how to write and speak fluently... that's a different matter altogether, at least for me... I've put the links for the edited volume 10's PDFs in the forum. Once again, thank you for the synopsis. Ah, I can't thank you enough. -/-User753-Talk- 00:54, 23 September 2013 (CDT)

Oh... I wasn't expecting the edited PDF's for volume 10, but I'm sure glad you made them. I'll update the links right away! The synopsis, huh... Thanks, though it's really bland without all the quotes, jokes and catch phrases... *sigh* Ella.servantes (talk) 07:51, 23 September 2013 (CDT)

Greetings, Ella-san. Here is the link for the Vietnamese project page, since I contacted the translator and got his approval also. ||Just so you know, I speak Vietnamese, so I can help monitor them as well :)|| It's good if we have the links to translations in other languages, I've seen Russian version somewhere as well.

Hi there. I apologize for the lack of updates recently... :( Yes, I do know about jisho.org, actually for me it's the most convenient dictionary to use when translating... But I appreciate the tip! Hi Ella.servantes. I just wanted to thank you (again) so much for translating Kino no tabi, I hope you're doing fine. About your last month examination... How did it go? Greetings from México. Schwars-Talk- 23:46, 06 March 2014

Hello Schwars, it's been a while! I'm all right, and my exam went unexpectedly well. (But the preparation and other RL things kept me too busy to translate... T_T). But I'm glad to say that I'll be resuming translations soon. Thanks for bearing with me for the past few months! :) Ella.servantes (talk) 20:17, 7 March 2014 (CST)

All the best in real life. I may not have read any translations yet (partially due to being unable to get a copy of the first volume), but your hard work left lasting impression on me. --Rock96 (talk) 12:35, 5 April 2015 (CDT)

I really want to give you a properly long good-bye, but honestly I can't properly tell my feelings right now. It would take a lot of love to devote so much for a series with not many followers as this and yet you keep up with this mostly on your own, despite it eating your time from keeping up with your RL duties. All the things you did for this series have been so great and inspiring. I can understand that RL responsibilities can be really taxing so I hope all things work out the best for you. I wish you happiness and success in whatever you do. Thank you, thank you so much for everything. Just in case you miss this, somebody also gave you thanks through my Kino's blog since they mistook me as you, so I tried to make things clear and delivered you their message. You will be missed greatly. Give you all my best wishes! BloodyKitty (talk) 10:36, 6 April 2015 (CDT)

Thank you so much for your time, your effort, your work and for everything. If it wasn't for you I could never have read all the volumes I have read so far. I really appreciate all your work and I wish you the best from now on. Thank you so much again Elle. I will always be in debt with you.

P.D. Sorry for my bad English.
