This line:

Needs some work, no?

2. Place them on your fists???
I just don't see what Asahina is supposed to be doing...

- I'm inclined to rewrite this line thus:
- As sweet as 100% pure fruit juice, Asahina the waitress clutched her hands and placed them tightly on her lap, sitting stiffly.
- This fits with Asahina's portrayal in that outfit in the anime, and makes better sense of the first phrase too.
