I think ‘Eat’ in Chinese can be used as ‘wipe out’ as in the case of chess, where a captured piece can somewhat be translated as having been ‘eaten’, and also the Chinese text used ‘mouth,’ and mouth can also be a classifier for people. It’s possible this is a play on words saying something along the lines of ‘wiping someone out.'
