Random English Grammar

Line 005 example: Everyone inside the classrooms was listening to some boring lecture.

Was is correct because it is derived from everyone, which would use was. Although saying inside the classrooms would net a were afterwards, it is not the subject. (This was probably why we had are in the first place by mistake.)
