The Games Competition featured several games, which included Tekken and Naruto: Narutimate Accel 2 for the Sony PS 2 and, more excitingly, the new BLEACH game for the Nintendo Wii. Being the first Wii competition to be held in an ACG event, it was naturally a huge hit, with visitors and cosplayers alike giving it a go. In the end, Zaraki cosplayer Khairul Nazri emerged victorious, followed by Earl of Millenium (from D-GrayMan) cosplayer Amanda Tham who came in second. 15 year old Benjamin Goon won the Naruto Competition (while ironically cosplaying as Hollow Ichigo from BLEACH), while 17 year old Prawin a/l Gunalegaran triumphed in the Tekken competition.

The highlight of the day, however, came surprisingly in the form of the Karaoke Competition. With the hall lights dimmed and the participants put before a panel of seemingly professional judges, the Karaoke Competition resembled more of a Malaysian Idol audition, only that it was anime-themed. It didn’t take long for the participants to rope up the crowd, and soon enough, even members of the audience started waving and cheering wildly. The prize went to 21 year old Michelle Jean Brohier, who awed the judges and crowd alike with her fantastic rendition of the song God Knows, from the hit anime The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.

There was also an art competition held, with 22 year old Noor Azimah (a.k.a Zymz) emerging as champion.

In short, the MAGe Festa was a very much enjoyable, and very successful for a first-time event. Kudos to the MAGe committee for organizing it, and also to the cosplayers, singers, gamers and visitors who made it all so much more enjoyable.

Fake Script?

Hey Holycow,

you still got that parody script?

if you do, can you post it up in the fan fiction sub-forum?

It seems a waste to lose, and i'm sure people would love to read it again, or for you to add more to it? :p

regards,

Sure, I have it backed up in my hard drive. I'll have it uploaded then. Thanks.

FMP

Hoy :)

I don't know you managed to put a FMP story in a Haruhi page, but, I've moved it here : User:HolyCow/FMP temp, which seems a more appropriate place.

You can create any subPage storage you want using the syntax[[/a subpage]] and previewing.
