Regarding names of people and places that I have no idea how to romanise (such as Shirayuki's high school or the names of the girls in Guriko's class), my usual method is to find some Japanese names, in anime/manga or reality, that uses those kanji. Then it will be just a matter of putting their pronunciation together. There are so many ways a kanji can be pronounced in Japanese that I really have no idea how to figure out the romanisation of a name without grabbing some examples first to see how they are pronounced - Brynhilde (talk)
